Take To The Waters

Both the beaches have a variety of watersports where you can take your pick from jet-skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving or banana boat rides. There are several boat trips and boat hire companies with day trips leaving from the port everyday. If you're lucky you can spot whales and dolphins enjoying the clear, blue waters.

Keep the Kids Happy

Around the resort you'll find lots of activities to keep the kids entertained, including Siam Waterpark in nearby Costa Adeje or more local attractions such as go-karting, bowling or mini golf. Enjoy camel riding just outside Los Cristianos, which is a great way to explore the local villages or simply hit the beach and go boogie boarding, waterskiing or surfing.

The public buses are a cheap way for visitors to explore the island but most holidaymakers tend to use taxis and hire cars as they offer extra flexibility during your stay and are more dependable. There are cycling and hiking trails for the more adventurous or daily boat services hopping between each island.

Travelling by bus or car There are comfortable, air conditioned buses which leave regularly from most of the main resorts and stop at the island’s most famous attractions. The smaller, local buses are less reliable. If you want to explore more of the island, hiring a car is highly recommended. The island’s main roads are easy to navigate and well looked after; the smaller roads can be somewhat of a challenge. Driving is on the right-hand side.
