Cheap Holidays to Los Cristianos

Sitting pretty on Tenerife's south coast is the small, lively resort of Los Cristianos, perfect for those after a sunny beach holiday with great golden sands. Holidays in Los Cristianos have fun-filled activities to keep all ages entertained and Tenerife's enviable climate means it's one of the sunniest short-haul destinations to enjoy all-year-round, although the best time to visit are the months of May, June and July.

The two beaches of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Vistas are separated by the pretty harbour, with one of the golden bay's sheltered by the pier making it great for paddling with the little ones and the other boasting a line-up of watersports and a beachfront cocktail bar. Adventure-lovers can also catch a boat from the harbour for scuba diving trips, snorkel excursions and island-hopping to beautiful La Gomera nearby. In the evenings, explore the authentic restaurants and bars along the bustling promenade or for something more fast-paced, head into Playa de las Americas, the party capital of the island, for a string of popular clubs.

Tenerife South Airport is the nearest airport to Los Cristianos at a distance of 18 km from the town, and Tenerife North airport stands at a distance of 80km. Los Cristianos holidays are the perfect choice if you like to explore pretty port towns, classic beaches and picturesque neighbouring islands with a traditional Canary Island feel and with a variety of great-value hotels from swish 5-star to self-catering, you can grab a last-minute deal whenever the mood takes you.

Getting Around Los Cristianos

🚌 Transport in the Los Cristianos Region

The public buses are a cheap way for visitors to explore the island but most holidaymakers tend to use taxis and hire cars as they offer extra flexibility during your stay and are more dependable. There are cycling and hiking trails for the more adventurous or daily boat services hopping between each island.

Travelling by bus or car There are comfortable, air conditioned buses which leave regularly from most of the main resorts and stop at the island’s most famous attractions. The smaller, local buses are less reliable. If you want to explore more of the island, hiring a car is highly recommended. The island’s main roads are easy to navigate and well looked after; the smaller roads can be somewhat of a challenge. Driving is on the right-hand side.
