This bustling resort is best known as the party capital of the island, but it also boasts fantastic beaches, restaurants and shopping. Holidays in Playa de las Americas are all about spending time at the six stunning sandy beaches, dining at delicious restaurants and hitting bars, cocktail lounges and clubs when the sun goes down. With the nightlife concentrated around ‘The Patch’ or the ‘Veronica Strip,’ you are spoilt for choice between theatres, live music bars, musical shows and crazy discos. Despite being a popular choice with revellers, there's more to Playa de las Americas holidays than its vibrant party scene.

The spectacular golden beaches on Tenerife’s sun-kissed south coast make this resort the perfect island getaway and with sunny skies all-year-round, it means you can treat the family to summer holidays and warming winter sun, too. If you’re travelling with kids, a trip to Siam Park (one of the biggest waterparks in Europe) is a must. Barely 2 km away in the hills is Jungle Park, where you could see over 500 animals and birds.

If you can drag yourself away from the bunch of beautiful beaches, head to neighbouring Los Cristianos or the windsurfing capital of El Medano, 22 km away, for a change of pace. With great weather (average of 22°C) all year round, the Canary Islands are a popular pick for those looking for last minute holidays.
