Tenerife is easy to get around and has a reliable public transport service. The buses are a cheap way for you to explore the island but most holidaymakers prefer to use taxis and hire cars as it offers that extra flexibility during your stay. Opt for cycling and hiking trails if you're feeling active or jump on a boat and head around the island on a day tour.

Travelling by bus or car If you want to get around the resort, taxi's are a good option for getting around quickly. there are local buses but they can be a tad unreliable. If you want to take advantage of this Canary Island's coastline, hiring a car is your best bet.
