Azulik is in Tulum which used to be a small fishing village. Today Tulum is a magical spot in the Riviera Maya that attracts travelers from all over the world who seek to get closer to nature; to a more relaxed lifestyle that helps them escape from the daily routine and lets them learn from the ancient Mayan wisdom. We respect the earth in which we live and we have built elevated wooden paths that twist and turn allowing trees to grow freely. All premises are lit by candlelight to create a natural ambiance that is perfect for a relaxing retreat or a romantic getaway. The absence of electric light was derived from the purpose of respecting the four different species of turtles that spawn on their beach from May to October. Azulik beach is a space to experience nature at its best offering its guests a place to enjoy themselves where clothes are optional. The unparalleled beauty of our space is the perfect gift of nature to all of our visitors. Within our premises we have a cenote that provides sacred water to all villas. Azulik was founded and designed by the Argentinean artist Roth Neira Sterkel and was handcrafted by Mayan people with materials of the area. Its unique architecture and design make of each villa a piece of art and of Azulik a habitable sculpture where nature and art converge. Please note that this hotel is only for adults.
