Teenagers can be hard to please at home, let alone when on holiday. Take Trips Out. Venture beyond the resort if you want to get a flavour of the resort or destination you are staying in, and you’ll also discover plenty of places to keep the kids entertained. Boat trips are great for this. Explore the coastline or nearby islands, enjoying the sights and perhaps even spotting some wildlife. Kids will love spending time on the water, diving off the boat at secluded beaches and seeing incredible sea life like dolphins and whales. Destinations such as Crete and Majorca are perfect for boat trips. Away from the water, try looking for local day trips which are often bookable from your hotel reception, and you may even get a discount if booked early.

Make sure your hotel has a pool. Simple, yet great fun for the whole family—nothing beats a refreshing dip together. There are often kids and adult pools in the top resorts, allowing you to choose the best one for your kid's abilities.

Join Kids Clubs. Let the little ones make new friends and enjoy supervised activities while you relax or join in the fun. They also let you relax by the pool with a cold drink knowing they are having the time of their lives whilst you tan.
