Getting Around Limassol

🚌 Transport in the Limassol Region

The resort and beach area is easily explored by foot. Buses are in abundance, and offer an inexpensive way of getting around Limassol without much fuss. Service taxis – which are shared – are also available, but only run until 6pm and only operate between towns. Normal taxis can also be flagged down. Walking is a great way of exploring and given the traffic, can often be quicker!

Travelling by bus or car Limassol has an excellent bus service, which will get you from A to B cheaply and comfortably. Buses run locally, and also between major resorts, and are fairly regular and reliable. Hiring a car is a great way to explore more of the island. However, if you’re staying in the centre of Limassol, parking can be difficult and the roads are narrow and busy. Drive on the left.
