Situated on the south coast of Mallorca, on the eastern side of Playa de Palma, is one of the most happening beach resorts of the region, El Arenal. The resort is a stone’s throw from the airport of Son Sant Joan and can easily be reached by buses and taxis from the airport. The nearest town is that of Palma, which is situated 10km away.
Abuzz with life, this beach town is immensely popular with youngsters, who throng the place looking for sun, fun and sangria. There are plenty of things to do on your El Arenal holidays, those looking for a relaxing afternoon can simply wander around the palm-lined promenade, read a book or sip cocktails under one of the many Balnearios, or open-air shacks. Those who like a little more adventure can check out the watersports, discover the local markets selling fresh local produce, or enjoy a day trip to Palma for its variety of shops.
Holidays in El Arenal are never complete without a mandatory trip to one of the many nightclubs of the region. Venues such as Paseo Maritimo, La Lonja and Santa Catalina are famous for their lively night scene. If you've got the kids in tow, try out the Arenal waterpark or take a trip to the Palma Aquarium for a close encounter with amazing underwater creatures. Filled with invigorating fun and adventure, a holiday in El Arenal is the perfect way to enjoy your summer break.

A pleasant stroll takes you to neighbouring resorts Playa de Palma and C’an Pastilla, which are located along a 6 kilometre stretch of beautiful Blue Flag beach. If you're feeling active, cycle between the resorts or take a mini train along the prom. The beaches, restaurants and bars are all set up for holidaymakers and the sunny Mallorcan climate is hard to beat.

Mallorca is packed full of activities from paddleboarding lessons and jet ski centres to banana boats and beach-hopping day cruises. Enjoy several rounds of mini golf at Golf Fantasia, play tennis on the beach or go scuba diving and snorkelling in the clear waters - the choice is yours. Drop in at the popular Club Nautico on the marina for sailing or kite surfing lessons and round everything off with a well deserved cocktail in one of the seafront bars.
