My stay at the Mix Peymar Hotel was a great experience from start to finish. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, so I was just a few steps from my room to the sea. The room was clean, comfortable and regularly maintained, the housekeeping staff did a perfect job.

Breakfast and dinner were varied and delicious, there was always plenty to choose from - from fresh vegetables, to hot dishes to great desserts. The restaurant staff was helpful and smiling.

I would especially like to highlight the receptionist Miguel. His professional approach, willingness to advise and sincere effort to help guests made my stay even more enjoyable. Miguel was always willing to answer all questions, provided useful tips for trips and restaurants in the area, and at the same time had a great sense of humor, which made every interaction with him positive.

Overall - the Mix Peymar Hotel offers a great combination of a great location, cleanliness, delicious food and exceptional staff.  I would definitely love to come back here and recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant holiday by the sea.

SHORT REVIEW:
If you really care about cleanliness, good hotel management, a great all-inclusive program, and a large pool – unfortunately, this is not the hotel for you.

LONG REVIEW (continuation in several categories):
We stayed at this hotel with family for 7 days. During our stay, I paid attention to all the details to be able to give future guests a reliable review.

Let’s start with the good stuff.

The hotel exterior is eye-catching and stands out architecturally among other hotels. The interior follows a similar style – retro Mexico/Spain – which provides a unique vibe. The hotel’s atrium is also attractive, and the glass elevator enhances the experience. Staff members were friendly and we had no negative encounters.

Now for the negatives, or rather, the things that are not well executed.

Hotel management is clearly lacking – and significantly.

First sign of trouble is the reception. There's usually only one person working. That’s okay if guests arrive sporadically, but if a group of guests arrives at once (e.g., through a travel agency), the check-in process becomes extremely slow. Despite the volume, staffing at reception doesn’t increase.

Continuation in categories.

SUMMARY
Despite all the issues, the staff really tried. They weren’t always perfect, but clearly did their best. What they need is better leadership and organization.

Special praise goes to one older gentleman who worked in both the dining area and bar. When he was on shift, things ran much more smoothly.

Overall, this hotel has potential to be a great 3-star property. Right now, I can’t rate it as such. I would rate it 2.5/5, but cannot do that, so 2/5 it is.

This place needs better management, more staff, some modernization, and more attention to detail. With those changes, operations and guest satisfaction would improve – and maybe they wouldn’t need to charge for everything.

I hope management reads this and takes the feedback seriously. I truly wish for this hotel to improve and become a place guests are happy to return to.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and it was just great.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
The price value was perfect. The rooms are clean and with the AC it is very cool, even when it’s hot outside.
We had the all inclusive package, which was perfect for us. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner had great options that vary everyday. You get a variation of fish, meet and vegetarian dishes. There is also a salad bar and Desert which were super delicious. The staff is super fast, therefore everything gets filled up very quick and there was always enough of everything.
All in all it was a perfect trip, thank you very much.

Would I come again? Yes.
Budget hotel for your budget, so remember this if/when you book.
For:
1. Location. Edge of S'Illot near Sa Coma, right on the beach.
2. Clean rooms and toilets.
3. Food basic but good.
4. Friendly staff.

Not so good:
1. Dated decor. This was a modern hotel 20/30 years ago. Although dated, clean.
2. Small pool - but you've got a beach 20 metres away.
3. Staff are friendly but sparce.
4. Which leads to lack of cups, glasses etc which need replenishing.
5. Then chef is definitely spanish, with traditional fair, which some might find not to quite to their taste, although personally, I enjoyed the food.
6. Spanish DJ although plenty of bars nearby.

Loved it, very friendly staff, clean room, the food was really good, everyday something different, we paid for all inclusive, but really only had breakfast and  dinner, but no complaints, we loved our stay there.

Loved it as it was right on the beach and quiet. Short walk along to busier touristy area. Only things that could make it better would be a fridge in the bedroom, more sun lounger next to the pool and bigger pool (obviously not a quick fix due to structure and land).
Always something to choose from at meal times, live food station staff so friendly, and staff happy to help to plan outings ect.
