Set in cosmopolitan Ixia, the modern Caravel Hotel is 50 metres from the beach and four kilometres from the historic town of Rhodes. Apartments have white walls, tiled floors and patterned fabrics in autumnal colours. All have kitchenettes with eating areas, air conditioning, balconies, direct dial phones, safes, and television. Bathrooms or shower rooms have hair dryers and telephones. In the Coconut Restaurant, diners can choose from an a la carte menu of Greek and international dishes. The dining room has a wood beamed ceiling and is decorated with large plants in pots. The hotel's rectangular pool is lined with sunbeds and parasols. The 24 hour front desk offers a currency exchange, fax and postal services and excursion bookings.
