Getting Around Icmeler

🚌 Transport in the Icmeler Region

While Icmeler is a two hour transfer from the closest airport, once you’re there you have everything you need for a great holiday on hand. You can walk most places, but if you want to use public transport there’s a network of Dolmus minibuses to connect you to neighbouring resorts. There are plenty of taxis if you'd prefer and car hire is available too.

Travelling by bus or carDolmus minibuses are the traditional mode of transport in Turkey. In general, holidaymakers tend to stick to taxis and car hire. If you do want to drive while you’re on holiday, car hire is available. Stick to the right-hand side and bear in mind that the Highway Code is often ignored in Turkey!  
Passports and Visas

As well as a valid passport, which should have at least 6 months left on it, you will need a visa to enter Turkey. You can apply for this online, in advance, and it costs the equivalent of $20. For more information and advice, visit

Health and Safety
