Cheap Holidays to Turgutreis

A beautiful Turkish town just 60-minutes away from Bodrum International Airport, Turgutreis is the second largest town on the Bodrum peninsula and an ideal summer holiday spot. Boasting 5km of sandy beaches and stylish waterfront restaurants and bars, holidays to Turgutreis promise plenty of fun in the sun!

Turgutreis holidays will blow you away with its breathtaking beaches, boat trips to Kos and incredible historical sites thrown in the line-up, too. One of the biggest towns in south-west Turkey, it’s no doubt this resort has plenty to see and do for all ages. Turgutreis gets its name from famous Ottoman admiral Turgut Reis – better known as Dragut. And the historic sites come thicker than the ocean’s curling waves across the Bodrum peninsula. As you make your way around Bodrum, you’ll come face to face with the likes of St Peter’s Castle, the remains of an ancient mausoleum, and an ocean-facing amphitheatre. Or if you fancy venturing further ashore (and getting two holidays in one), jump on deck a boat and take a daytrip to the neighbouring Greek Island of Kos. Perfect.

One of the best things about Turgutreis holidays is that the entire coastline is brimming with outstanding beaches, including Turgutreis’s very own Blue Flag beach. If your idea of a dream family holiday consists of visions of your little ones playing freely on flawless, fluffy sand, then Turgutreis holidays are not to be missed. From beautiful beachfront scenery to true Turkish culture, holidays to Turgutreis ooze everything you could want from a family getaway.

If you like souvenirs, keep an eye out for the beautiful gourd lamps and traditional Turkish embroidery. Or of course, you could always just wander round the racks upon racks of delicious cheese…mmm.
