Kumkoy holidays are largely understated and overlooked by backpacker blogs et all. However, holidays to Kumkoy are rustic and easy going; off the beaten path that is Side, and out of the big cities of Turkey, truly a change of scenery and a change of pace to give you that real vacation feel. Kumkoy provides easy access to all neighbouring towns and cities making days out easy to plan if you want to hit those tourist hot spots.

Holidays to Kumkoy are composed of lots of shopping; everything from quirky independent brands to designer knock offs, or if shopping is not your bag, get your heart racing with some of the extreme sports like Blue Sky Microlighting. Holidays to Kumkoy also offer plenty of bars to choose from day or night, some busier than others so you can match a vibe to your mood. The resort is great for families too, hosting all of your regular amenities close by and a relatively flat landscape for easy wheelchair and pushchair access.

Food wise, traditional Turkish bites are easy to find and the locals here know enough English to help you find your way around. Head to the beach to see the interesting blend of life in Kumkoy, with a luxury hotel dominating one half, and handmade beach houses, poised on stilts, on the other. All parts of the beach are public, but the hotel has lounges and the like for visitors willing to cash out for comfort.

    Exciting Theme Parks

Go wet and wild to take a break from the heat! Just outside of Kumkoy, located in Serik, this theme park is ideal for young children and adults alike. Although it can get crowded in peak season, the rides are worth the wait and priority tickets are available. If paddling in the lagoons and flying down flumes isn’t enough for you, check out the dolphin shows or see the notorious stuntman Chapito perform in Adrenalino; breathtaking family entertaining to have you all on the edge of your seat.

Close enough for a day trip and definitely worth the ride is the Ancient City of Perge. These ruins were once the most prosperous city and evidence of a blossoming civilisation still shows today. View the old Amphitheatre, decorated city walls, and pass under the arch of the Roman Gate. The site spans 15km so give yourself plenty of time to explore.
