Cheap Holidays to Laganas

The popular town of Laganas is located on the island of Zante and is a hot tourist destination among groups of friends and families alike, seeking fun-loving holidays to Greece. This vibrant coastal town has developed from its quaint fishing village days, into a bustling resort with gorgeous beaches and an energetic nightlife scene.

Holidays to Laganas can be as laid-back or lively as you wish. The beach is crowned as one of the most beautiful in Zante, stretching from the east to the west coast and donning an abundance of splash-tastic watersports along the way. Close to popular Zante town, visitors can day trip here in 15-minutes and be met by a string of traditional restaurants, bars and cafes, plus the odd museum, too.

Aside from the sandy beaches, there’s plenty more things to do on your Laganas holidays. If you’re into history and culture, the resort is doused in Greek mythology worth uncovering – and while unfortunately an earthquake in 1953 wiped out most of the ancient buildings, many of the new builds have replicated the resort’s previous architecture. For a faster pace, water activities, hiking trails and tours and trips are available to excite active visitors – why not see if you can spot the famous Loggerhead turtles that reside on Zante’s beaches? The world-renowned Zakynthos Marine Park and several other amusement parks are also a great way to entertain the kids – while keeping them educated at the same time! When night rolls around, hit the neon-lit Strip (also known as the Golden Mile) for your fill of lively bars, clubs and famed DJs.
