Cheap Holidays to Anissaras

Holidays to Anissaras are perfect for a relaxing family getaway, away from the hustle bustle of packed-out tourist resorts, but close enough to lively Hersonissos if you do fancy a change of pace. An ideal location for those with children, Anissaras holidays offer a well-rounded break that will leave you wanting to return time and time again.

This picturesque resort stretches out over a large and often hilly terrain, ideal for peaceful family walks and getting out and about to explore the countryside. If you’re looking for a bit of extra “va-va-voom,” you can even take a stroll across to the lively nearby resort of Hersonissos. This popular beach is brimming with rocks and pebbles and lined with luxury hotels, plus there are plenty of family-friendly tavernas and shops for you to browse while you’re there, too.

While a lot of the stunning shoreline in Anissaras is rocky, the resort offers some excellent man-made sandy beaches, especially in front of the large, luxurious hotels. Remember that there is no such thing as a private beach in Crete – so why not spend a few hours on the sandy stretches in front of the five-star hotels and beach clubs? You won’t be disappointed! With so many man-made beaches carved out form among the rocks, Anissaras is the place to be if you’re a family who loves those long, lazy summer days. Besides the beach, there are plenty of excursions to be had in the surrounding resort, from the beautifully preserved village of Lassithi Plateau to history and culture in the capital of Heraklion
