Tenerife is easy to navigate with a range of transport readily available here. The public buses are a cheap way for visitors to explore the island, but most holidaymakers tend to use taxis and hire cars as they offer that extra flexibility during your stay. There are numerous cycling and hiking trails for the more adventurous or daily boat services hopping between each island too.

Travelling by bus or carThere are comfortable, air conditioned buses which leave regularly from most of the main resorts and stop at the island’s most famous attractions. The smaller, local buses are slightly less reliable. Hiring a car is cheap, easy and highly recommended.
