Located on the far eastern coast of Cyprus, this picturesque resort is known for historical sites, stunning beaches and clear, blue waters. The weather is lovely with temperatures hovering between 25 to 27°C with the best month to visit being August, when the average sea temperature is around 27°C making it an ideal time to enjoy a swim. Holidays in Ayia Napa are renowned for world-class nightclubs, where you'll find famous DJs performing live sets across the island's popular party venues. Downtown Ayia Napa and Nissi Avenue is where all the action happens, so you can choose from thriving foam parties to cool cocktail bars and super clubs.

Beyond the bars there's plenty more to this beautiful island, which is admired for its archaeological sites. On the eastern end, you’ll find the rock-cut tombs of Macronissos, which date back to the times of the Hellenistic and Roman times. If you fancy going further afield, you can visit the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia, which is only an hour’s ride away and is home to alluring old Venetian structures and idyllic churches.

Ayia Napa's 14 Blue Flag Beaches

Ayia Napa's 14 Blue Flag Beaches

Nope, that’s not a typo. Ayia Napa really does have 14 Blue Flag beaches for you to hop between, including watersports mecca Makronissos Beach, family-friendly Sandy Beach and home of the beach parties, Nissi Beach. Grab your sun cream and a beach towel and shotgun your spot on the sands for the day!

Sample Cypriot Cuisine

Sample Cypriot Cuisine

Cyprus' cuisine is packed with flavour and you'll find plenty of tasty tavernas serving up local bites around the resort. Try Tony’s Taverna for its delicious lamb kleftiko and rabbit stifado. Clarabel is good for signature dishes like Pork with Apple and tasty flambé steaks, too. Whichever dish you try, be sure to wash it down with some gorgeous local wine.

Hit The Waves At WaterWorld

Hit The Waves At WaterWorld

WaterWorld can be found right in the middle of town, and is thought to be the largest themed waterpark in Europe. Pack your favourite (sturdiest!) swimwear and head for the chutes, waves and slides that make up this vast ‘ancient Greek’ themed park. Queues are expected in summer, but at least you’ll get a tan while you wait!

Downtown Ayia Napa

Downtown Ayia Napa

Downtown Ayia Napa is home to so many clubs and bars that we’ve lost count! Whatever you want your epic nights out to include, this buzzing resort has it all. From foam parties and karaoke bars to live music and trendy beach terraces, you can guarantee that your evenings will be filled with entertainment that will knock your socks off.
