Cheap Holidays to Croatia

Croatia holidays are all about island hopping, picturesque beaches, glitzy harbours and fabulous bars. Situated on the Adriatic coast, it's a family-friendly destination for lovers of beaches and sunshine. Most of the top beaches are located along the Adriatic coast, which includes world famous resorts such as Opatija, Zagreb and Dubrovnik. Croatia beach holidays are known for their exotic coastlines, natural marine life, old historical buildings, and vibrant night scene.

There are plenty of things to do in Croatia, spend time admiring the medieval walled city of Dubrovnik, which was the location for the fictional capital of Westeros in HBO’s hit series, Game of Thrones. The city of Opatija, considered as one of the most famous health resorts, is filled with lovely sand beaches and quaint historical structures to admire, too. Croatian islands, on the other hand, are filled with rocky beaches, pine-wood forests, vineyards and old Venetian buildings.

With incredible cuisine, exhilarating water sports and a fun-loving atmosphere, Croatia should be on the top of your summer wish list.

Getting Around Croatia

🚌 Transport in the Croatia Region

Thanks to the new motorway network travel between resorts is now much easier. Airports are normally well served by transfer options including minibuses, taxis and buses. If you’re planning to island hop the main ferry terminals are found Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Rijeka, and the service is efficient and regular, especially during the summer months.  Car hire is widely available but parking is difficult in cities such as Dubrovnik, and taking a car increases the cost of ferry trips. Car hire is a good option if travelling by road between smaller resorts as its much more convenient than the bus network. If you do decide to opt for car hire, remember to drive on the right.
