Seaside Fun

Seaside Fun

Fuerteventura’s beaches are some of the best you’ll find, and there is plenty to keep you occupied too.

Caleta de Fuste's crystal-clear waters are perfect for snorkelling (particularly near the rocks), but if you prefer propelling through the sea with a little more power, jet-skiing, kayaking and windsurfing are popular choices!

Don’t miss going underwater in a glass-bottomed submarine at Oceanarium Explorer, where you can swim with playful sea-lions and maybe even get a sloppy, wet kiss!

You can also take a boat trip to spot whales and dolphins in their natural habitat.

Caleta de Fuste has a large family-friendly beach, enhanced by imported golden sands and artificial rock lagoons.

Spend hours watching the pretty boats in the harbour or head off on a day trip or fishing excursion.

A walkway connects the beach to the island bar Chiringuito, where you can grab a snack and enjoy the view.

Best Beaches

Best Beaches

Looking for a sandy spot to relax on? Here are some of our favourites.

Corralejo Natural Park features several kilometres of white, sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The sand dunes are a unique feature here, often compared to the Sahara desert.

Cofete beach is located on the remote southwestern side of the island, this beach is quite untouched and offers a sense of isolation. The strong currents and waves make it less suitable for swimming but it's great for sunbathing and walks.

Costa Calma beach offers calm waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. It's a popular destination for families because of its gentle waves and fine golden sand.
