Cheap Holidays to Golden Sands

The name Golden Sands certainly suits this buzzing beach resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, near the city of Varna. With a Blue Flag beach boasting an expanse of sand that stretches 3.5km, there’s no shortage of space to set up your sunlounger - even in high season! Once you’ve topped up your tan, spend your Golden Sands holidays exploring the surrounding area. Golden Sands is one of the most popular, sun-kissed and fun-loving resorts on the Bulgarian coast, and it mainly attracts a mix of families and young groups. If you're seeking culture, the bustling city of Varna is just 25-minutes away and oozes Bulgarian charm or head to the Natural Park and bathe in its bubbly hot springs.

For the adventurous at heart, a trip to the Aquapolis water park, with its thrilling rides and slides and the enchanting Mediterranean décor, can be exciting. The Aladzha Rock Monastery with its catacombs, walkways and stairs carved into the cliff-side is also worth exploring. When the sun goes down, take advantage of the pubs, clubs and casinos dotted around the resort for a buzzing and relaxed vibe.

Bulgaria offers amazing cheap holidays that don't scrimp on comfort and quality, and the resort has a huge range of hotels from 2, 3 or 4-star accommodations to full board, half board and cracking self-catering options. Holidays to Golden Sands can be as laid-back or lively as you wish, so enjoy sun-soaked days on the beach and sample cocktails at night!
