So, we’re looking for something different here. We’re looking for more. More than just a holiday. More than just lazing around on a tropical paradise and working on the tan. More than just flying out to the cosmopolitan metropolis that is Dubai for a spot of tax-free luxurious shopping and dessert adventures. More than exploring historical monuments and temples. More than roaming around traditional markets and souks looking for those perfect holiday souvenirs.

More than a jungle safari in dramatic verdant landscapes and wildlife spotting. More than whale and dolphin watching in the deep waters of the Indian Ocean. More than snorkelling around vibrant coral reefs and spotting amazingly colourful marine life.

So, what exactly is more? What if more is all these things put together? And what if more is easily possible and attainable? Wouldn’t that be just fantastic?
Well, guess what? We can do all these things on Dubai and Sri Lanka twin centre holidays. And we only need 10 – 12 days to do it all in. This is how.

Leg 1: Glamorous Dubai
We fly off to the hot desert sands of Dubai, with its opulent architecture and revolutionary skyline where modernism and innovation effortlessly blend with tradition. Here, we get to do the tax-free spending in its opulent shopping malls and souks. We get our desert jeep safaris here too where we can enjoy anything from dune bashing, camel riding and magnificent desert sunsets. We also get to strut our funky stuff along the bustling promenade of the Dubai Marina with its trendy bars, cafes dotted along the skyscrapers on the waterfront. We also get to see the magnificent views atop the Burj Khalifa – still the tallest building in the world last time we looked. We can do all this in 3 – 4 days and then we are ready to fly off again.

Leg 2: Tropical Sri Lanka
We leave the glitz of Dubai behind and jet off to the lush tropical island nation with diverse landscapes that is Sri Lanka. This is where we get to experience the island's rich cultural heritage influenced by Buddhism, Hinduism and colonialism by the Portuguese, Dutch, French, Danish and British. We get a host of UNESCO World Heritage sites to see including the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the Sacred City of Kandy, the Old Town of Galle and the Dambulla Cave Temple to name but a few. We get to witness all aspects of this nation’s cultural histhistory and influences from every part of its past that are still visible today. This is also where we get to go on our wildlife safari for a bit of elephant, leopard and buffalo spotting among hundreds of other mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Let’s not forget the tea plantations introduced by the British in the early 20th century and are still in full production today.

It’s also where we get to go whale watching, dolphin spotting, snorkelling, diving, surfing and it's where we finish our holiday off lying with our feet in the sand on a palm-fringed tropical beach paradise.
