Ideal for those seeking a terrific Tenerife resort with spacious apartments, easy beach access, plenty of poolside space, relaxed dining and a wealth of activities for the entire family to enjoy, the Allegro Isora Hotel is a brilliant base for a holiday in Tenerife.

Situated in the north of Tenerife’s sweeping west coast, the Allegro Isora Hotel is a family-friendly resort offering all-inclusive holidays as well as half-board accommodation.

The Allegro Isora Hotel comprises of stylish, colourful apartments and is big enough to offer well-sized, practical accommodation suiting every family size and budget, while the fresh Mediterranean feel makes it a charming spot to enjoy some peace and quiet in the year-round pleasant sunny weather.

The hotel is certainly well located, just a ten minute drive to the stunning harbour town of Los Gigantes, half an hour from some of the island’s biggest and most vibrant resort towns, and just a ten minute stroll down to the soft sands of the local beach, Playa De La Arena.

Allegro Isora Hotel Apartments

Resort in tenerife teletext

Our one-bedroom hotel apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bedrooms are spacious, with plenty of cupboard space and an in-room safe for valuables. The bathroom was clean and included amenities as soap and a hairdryer.

The real highlight is the living area - it is big enough to really stretch out and relax in, while the kitchen, breakfast bar, table and chairs, and a sofa (which doubles up as an extra bed) in the lounge room, makes the apartment a welcoming place to begin and conclude your days holidaying in Tenerife. Importantly, there was air conditioning in the living room, which offered respite from the hot days and balmy nights.

When we weren’t out and about exploring Tenerife, we spent most of our time on our hotel room’s balcony, which overlooked one of the resort’s cactus-lined courtyards. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink as you watch the sun go down behind the gently swaying palm trees.

How close is the Allegro Isora Hotel to the beach?

playa de la arena beach in tenerife

The black sand beach of Playa De La Arena is within walking distance from the hotel resort, meaning your morning commute to the sunbeds should take you no more than ten minutes. The glistening black sand shimmers with what looks like diamonds, its distinctive hues formed by millions of years of volcanic activity. It might not be considered your typical 'exotic' beach like the white sand stretches you can find elsewhere in Tenerife, but it’s every bit as soft to lie on and soak up that warm Tenerife sunshine, as well as a very different backdrop in which to take that cheeky selfie!

In fact, it’s famed as one of the cleanest beaches on the island, and has been awarded a European Blue Flag for cleanliness, multiple times.

There’s also a lovely walking path that winds its way along the rocky coastline, a short way from the beach itself, which makes for a really nice morning or evening stroll.

Of course, if you’re really not keen on the sand, there are multiple pools at the Allegro Isora Hotel, including a shallow pool that the kids will love and a pool with a small water slide for a bit of extra fun. There is also a large main pool available for you to do everything from swim lengths, splash around with the kids or lazily spread out on an inflatable with a cocktail in your hand.

Is the Allegro Isora Hotel a family friendly resort?

We saw plenty of families enjoying a holiday at Allegro Isora Hotel, as well as couples and groups of friends. There really is something for everyone: kids’ shows by the pool, live entertainment in the evenings, and rooms that allow you to stretch out and truly make yourself at home.

Food & Drink at the Allegro Isora Hotel

tasty looking breakfast in resort tenerife teletext

The Allego Isora Hotel's main restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, opening at 7:30am and closing at 10pm. The food is served in a buffet-style, with plenty of options to please everyone, and more than enough to go around.

The breakfast alone is a veritable feast to suit every palate, with traditional Canarian dishes, including the classic patatas bravas and Spanish omelette, English breakfast staples, pastries, continental-style choices, and even freshly-made pancakes. Dinners follow a theme, which changes by the day, so you’ll be able to try something new each evening.

The dining room - which offers indoor and outdoor seating - is spacious, but during busy periods you might have to wait to get a seat. We recommend asking the staff when it’s quietest for a relaxing meal and the freshest food choices.

There’s also the main bar, where you’ll find nightly entertainment and a relaxed outdoor seating area for those warm evenings, as well as a pool bar so you don’t have to venture too far from your sun lounger to find a cool refreshment!

And in case you’re looking to try something a little bit different during your stay, there are a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance of Allegro Isora, including a lovely tapas bar overlooking the beach!

Facilities at Allegro Isora Hotel

As well as a beach and pool, Allegro Isora Hotel is home to a gym that is well-equipped and modern, while for those craving some pampering on your holiday, there’s a wellness centre that’s really reasonably priced - with manicures from €8, there’s really no reason not to treat yourself!

The hotel can also arrange car hire, tours and day trips if you’d like to see a bit more of the island while you’re there... and we recommend that you do, even if it is just for a day! In short, the always-friendly staff at the hotel's 24 hour reception desk can arrange whatever you need to make your stay more comfortable.

Why you should book the Allegro Isora Hotel

If you’re looking for a peaceful holiday destination, with everything you need at the resort, then Allegro Isora Hotel is an excellent Tenerife holiday option. It’s just outside the island’s main resort towns - but not far away -, so it’s quiet and relaxed with a beach you won’t have to fight for space on, whilst retaining easy access to some of Tenerife’s best attractions.

Whether your holiday in Tenerife is a getaway for the whole family or a dream romantic escape, the Allegro Isora Hotel is a wonderfully welcoming and relaxing resort choice
