Hit the Soft, Golden Sands
Bag a sunlounger and soak up some rays on the beach while watching the kids paddle in the shallow waters. If you’re feeling a bit more energetic, hire a pedalo and enjoy being out at sea. Or if you’re in need of an adrenalin injection, wow your fellow holidaymakers by showing off your moves on water skis!
Get Active in the Sunshine
Golfers will love getting into the swing at the championship quality 18-hole golf course only 10 minutes away at nearby Son Parc. Head to Arenal D’en Castell’s new shopping and commercial area Coves Noves to hire bicycles and get sweaty on the tennis courts. Or why not take a gentle stroll along the coastal paths?
Dance the Night Away
After a pre dinner drink by the sea, try one of the waterfront restaurants. El Pirata is a great choice for tapas and Rioja served with a smile. Arenal D’en Castell may be a world away from the superclubs of Ibiza but there’s a great live music scene with bands performing on Weds and Sunday nights in the square at Coves Noves.
Under the Sea
Diving fans will leap at the chance to get up close and personal with Arenal D’en Castell’s underwater residents by taking diving lessons in the Swiss Cheese dive area. As the name suggests, this hollow reef is full of holes and is home to a wide variety of fascinating sea life including octopus, reef fish and rays.
