We recently returned from Vonresort Golden Beach (October 2025) - and photos don’t do it justice! Amazing beautiful garden, great service by everyone at reception, very comfortable and clean rooms, delicious food.

We arrived before the check-in time and were immediately given a room, we even received an upgrade at no extra charge. We got a two-room apartment facing the garden. Most of the time we didn’t even see any neighbors and it felt like living in a villa.

After reading some of the reviews I was worried about ants or bad conditions of the rooms, but I haven’t seen either. The apartment was not freshly renovated, but in a great state and very cozy.

We loved the aquapark, the beach and the shuttle, as well as being able to use the sister hotel’s garden with lovely swings. Hamam at the hotel was great too - we bought our own soap and scrubbing gloves and could use it for free.

I can’t say anything about animation or evening programs, since we didn’t use/attend them - we took the local minibus to Side town instead.

If I had to pick one thing we didn’t like - it was the local alcohol. Except for beer, everything else didn’t really agree with us, we had some pain in the stomach. Maybe it would be better with more English tv-channels. Apart from it, it was great.

The food was delicious too, we are now at another hotel and it can’t even be compared to how lovely Vonresort was. We miss it already.

We stayed at Von Resort Golden Beach in October half term. We're a family of four - two adults and two early teenage girls. We stayed in a recently refurbished suite (2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Kitchenette). Overall we had a good holiday, and for the price we ignored some of the issues that we haven't experienced in more mid level resorts.

Resort Review
The resort is a good size and always plenty of sunbeds and tables to choose from. Food and drink all inclusive and no limits in place.
The pools and amenities are clean and modern. Nice artwork and flowers surround you. The shuttle to the beach is easy. The waterslides were enjoyed by the kids.
The weather was gorgeous. A great time of year for sun that doesn't have the summer intensity. It was 27 °C in the day, and 20°C in the evenings. Pleasant cool breeze, and other than some thunderstorms one day, it's a great time of year to visit for a Brit with pale skin!

Food Review
Day time snack options are nice near the activity pool, as well as dart games, Zumba, aqua aerobics, Yoga. Staff lead some dances through the day to raise energy levels but none of it gets pushy. No table or sunbed service, but only a short walk to the bar.

On the negative side, food options were limited and the daily buffet remained very similar with a bit more variety in the evenings. Admittedly we didn't try the A La Carte options due to it being more difficult to change your mind if it wasn't to our taste. The kids were happy, and there was always something tasty to find, but it was not to the standard of other resorts we've been to (albeit at higher cost). If you're a foodie, you will need to manage your expectations.

Drinks Review
Cocktails were hit and miss. Depending on who was making them they could be delicious to disgusting. They ran out of rum during our visit. Seemed like they were closing down for the end of the year.

Staff Review
Staff were quite disinterested and not often welcoming or engaging. It was the end of the season and maybe they had had enough of tourists! The exception was the bag porter and an older female cook who fried eggs in the morning, and made pancakes by the activity pool in the afternoon. She always greeted us with a warm smile and wave.

Room Review
Our room was newly refurbished but the finish was very poor. So much so that water came in from the thunderstorm and flooded the lounge area, and the showers leaked. The bathroom lock was on the wrong side of the door, and cupboard doors rubbed against walls. The kitchette was empty. There was a hob and sink but nothing to use. We asked for a kettle and cups which arrived but really we would have liked a fully equipped kitchenette. On a positive, the beds were comfortable, the kids loved the free mini bar in their room, and the Aircon worked well.  It's a shame they haven't finished these rooms properly and the construction work has been done with so little attention. It would have been a highlight without these issues.

Overall
We would recommend the resort because, for the price, we did have a nice holiday and were never hungry or thirsty. There was no pushiness or rudeness and we had fun playing games with no stress of an overcrowded resort.

We enjoyed our stay. People say the non renovated rooms are not good but we had a really good experience with the family room. I think it fulfills all the criteria that a four-star hotel needs and even goes beyond because a person who books the Golden Beach can also use the territory of the other two more expensive hotels (Elite and Golden Coast). The thing I liked the most was the beautiful gardens and smell of Japanese honeysuckle flowers.

The only source of annoyance for me was smell of cigarettes everywhere. Because all the windows are open, a person sitting inside will also inhale cigarettes smoke frim outside everywhere.
I think it is time for this hotel (and indeed all hotels in Turkey) to become completely smoke free. It is not good for children (and everybody) to constantly inhale smoke from cigarettes.

There werent many choices for TV channels. The only English Channel was a Chinese news channel! Mostly German and Russian.

The hotel is generally recommended. However, today I ordered two drinks at the bar, expecting two brands. I noticed the bartender was offering a different brand. Despite me telling him I'd told him twice, he mocked my reasoning and insisted I only ordered whiskey. Despite me telling him I'd told him twice, he started arguing with me. When I told him that, within the framework of laws and regulations, the customer is always right, he replied, "He's not." I don't think this bartender has good hearing, but his disrespect is the real problem. I've been visiting hotels in Türkiye for 40 years, but this is the first time I've encountered this kind of problem. This bartender, Yılmaz, deserves a warning. He may not hear, but disrespect is not anyone's right.

I’ve never been a huge fan of all-inclusive holidays, but Bon Resort completely won me over! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and even surprised us with a free room upgrade. The room itself was spacious and comfortable—maybe a little dated, but perfectly fine for our stay.

The food was a real highlight, with plenty of variety each day and several restaurants to choose from, so there was always something new to try.
Our son absolutely loved the kids club—the team there were fantastic and kept him entertained from start to finish.

The pools and water park were brilliant, with plenty of space and no stress about finding sunbeds. The beach was beautiful too, perfect for relaxing. Most of the staff were very friendly, and a few really stood out for their exceptional service.

The only slight downside was the WiFi, which could definitely be improved. But honestly, as a summer getaway, vonResort was fantastic—we couldn’t have asked for more and had such a wonderful time!
