The hotel area is good, big and open with two different pool areas. The pool bar wasn't open when we where there might be due to the winter season.
The hotel rooms are fine.
There is wi-fi but only in the reception.
It's a 25 min walk to the ocean.
We had some problems with the communication. Most in the staff only talk Arabic and Russian. Some guy there had a pretty bad tone in Russian to us even though they made a mistakes. We made a payment for breakfast which was not included and the guy told us the payment went trough. Later some guy in the staff came and talked russian to us showing us a recite in arabic thinking we should understand. It worked out in the end but we weren't to happy about it.
The hotel has no connection the Scandinavian countries (viking).

Zaied is truly exceptional. He is professional, reliable, and consistently goes above and beyond expectations. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong work ethic make working with him a great experience. Communication is always clear and timely, and the results speak for themselves. I highly recommend Zaied to anyone looking for quality, dedication, and excellence.

I booked this place for a few hours to relax while waiting for my flight, at a cost of only £28, and I was extremely pleased with my stay. The rooms were clean, though slightly outdated, which was perfectly acceptable given the price.
I especially appreciated how cat friendly the resort is. There were toys available for the cats, and it was clear they are fed and well cared for. All the cats appeared healthy, especially in comparison to strays in other areas.
The staff were very kind and accommodating, and most spoke English. The resort does not strongly reflect Viking history but it is an excellent choice due to its convenient location near Naama Bay with easy access to shopping eating out and activity bookings. To be honest I wouldnt stay here for more than 3 nights but is great value for money.

Worst hotel ever! Everything is outdated, the staff is impolite, they barely speak any other language than Arabic, most of their services are not available, like any daily program activity which is nicely presented in the reception. Food choice is super limited and mostly overdone. For any meal you have to either run on the first minute or wait around an hour and then go, as otherwise there will be no plates. Also food itself is not enough for everyone. If you want to go to the beach, you have to take an entrance “ticket” (for free) and go to a designated beach, which is very small and crowded.
We booked deluxe room for our 5 night stay and were put in an awful room that smelled of cigarettes, it was disgusting. After multiple arguments with the staff they moved us to another room, which was more spacious, but the furniture was super old, also we did not have any shower gel, blanket covers or small towels for your hands/face. For all this again we had to ask for staff multiple times to bring all the amenities. During our last evening there, we realized that someone was in our room while we were out shopping, as one of the “terrace” sliding doors was not fully closed as we left it. Basically anyone could open it from the outside. We reported it, but the managers advised that afterwards they have checked the camera recordings and there was nothing. They did not showed them to us of course.
On the day of the check out suddenly the staff became very friendly and smiling all the time, it felt awful, as it was way too late to make our stay better.
I seriously do not understand how this hotel is still running.
