AMAZING winter brake. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy outdoor pools, but beside this almost everything was perfect in this hotel. Yes , majority of guests are Spanish, and entertainment was in Spanish,but this is Spain, and this is what we Expect from foreign holidays 😀. Hotel is very clean , rooms are nice, and bar staff makes amazing drinks ( mojito or Pinacolada) or coffee with whisky 🥃. It's actually two sister hotels , and you could move between both , usually  Hotel Alone hold more shows than Tropic. Kids club is closed but its winter season, therefore don't bother.

Restaurant ...yeah ...this was the main treat for us , food is amazing, and full board guests have wine included in the meals!!! You could expect delicious Paella every day, different type of fish ( monkfish was a killer) , seafood ( cuttlefish) , delicious deserts and tasty soup 🍲. And I liked fresh fruits with every meal. If you can't find anything you like , there's probably something wrong with you.

Hotel is placed in quiet location, but isn't far away from main attractions. Taxi cost 8€ to get to the center. Overall, decent deal for December break , and would definitely go back. Thank you for amazing time 🙏.

Very basic cheap hotel. We are British and this is a very Spanish run hotel. No one speaks English. Entertainment was very poor and all music in Spanish. We were a party of two so ok for us space wise but I wouldn’t take my family there as not enough storage. View of mountains at rear and what can only be described as sewage drains. We were bitten to death by mosquitos around the pool, outside dining area and in the bar area close to outside doors!! We saw no cleaning to bar, pool or main seating area near bar with any kind of disinfectant. We could see bugs & mosquitos everywhere. So if you’re prone to being bitten don’t stay here as there is a long drainage system that runs along the back of the outside of the hotel which is a haven for mosquitos and flies. They need to be aware of this and keep the area clean. We couldn’t sit outside near pool or near any outside doors as mosquitos everywhere. Location is good for La Cala Beach and bus numbers 2 or 3 run frequently into Benidorm. The reception staff were nice and friendly also helpful. The bar lady was pleasant but doesn’t know her cocktails very well. Food in hotel was horrible! Breakfast was disgusting. Chefs need to cook the bacon for a start! Sausages were your typical cocktail rubber type sausages. One toaster…. Why???? Queuing for toaster every morning and you have to put the bread through twice! Get another toaster at least! Cleaners left our patio doors open and did not change sheets only towels. Only washed room floor once in our 8 day holiday stay. Although rooms were modern the bar entertainment and reception are were really old and outdated. The chairs in the bar area were really old and very uncomfortable. No good entertainment and had to go across road for even more bad entertainment. So if you are happy with the basics, bad food and poor entertainment and being bitten all the time then go ahead and stay!! I’ll know we will never be back!

Had a fine week here in late September, rooms are spacious and comfortable with a balcony, room cleaned everyday, reception staff are helpful and friendly. Bear in mind this is a Spanish hotel and cater mainly for Spanish and European people as certainly reflected with the entertainment and some of the meals, however a free bottle of wine for lunch and dinner is a nice touch. Location is nice and quiet with easy access to Benidorm and a lovely bay and beach serving ice cold beer, drinks and many cafés within 10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

Let’s get to the not so good bit first of all, now, if your English, I would suggest going somewhere else. It’s typically for Spanish people. Entertainment is all Spanish, and the hotel staff speak very little English, but were very friendly non the less. Breakfast was very dull, my wife and I ate out most mornings, pool is shaded from the sun so it never gets warm. No kettles in rooms either? I thought that was a bit weird. My wife and I were on the 7th (top) floor and we could here the entertainment over the tv at gone 11:30pm, I was not best pleased about this.

The hotel itself is far better than I expected. Beautiful airy rooms with a balcony, and some lovely views of the mountains, corridors were bright and clean, great powerful shower, and comfortable beds.

Had 4 nights away with the girls and we all said this hotel is far better than we expected. The photos do not do it justice. The rooms and corridors must of recently been done up and are very modern and spotlessly clean. The pool area and restaurant also much nicer than expected with a very nice shaded chill out area that looks new. All staff are lovely and perfect location, just few minutes to lovely bars, restaurants, beach and shops. It's not central to benidorm town but not far by bus or taxi and there are mainly Spanish guests so food in the restaurant reflects this. We really enjoyed the food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are at set times so no snacks available between but it didn't bother us. Will definitely be booking again.

I spent with my wife an enjoyable vacation in the city of Benidorm in July 2023 at this hotel. The hotel was clean, beautiful, with excellent food. On this occasion, I want to thank them once again and congratulate the entire staff and especially those in the restaurant who delighted our taste buds every day out of the 7. I would warmly recommend visiting the city that has a special architecture, but especially the Tropic Relax hotel!!!
