Lovely modernised hotel.
Positives- Adults only but mostly German guests
-Very Clean
-basic rooms but nice enough
-Staff very good, friendly, speak most languages and attentive.
-Pool area nice, good and plenty of beds
-Quiet and relaxing.
-Food ok.
Negatives - hotel is up high, so walking down is fine, 20 minutes to seafront. But you’ll need a taxi back
-shuttle bus to town picks up at various hotels so can be full and never on time.
-No atmosphere, we’ve just used it as a base to explore
-B&B is enough, you’ll go crazy eating here 3 times a day.

We had a lovely stay at TRH Taoro Garden hotel. The surrounding area, pool, and food were incredible. The beauty of the location is truly breathtaking, looking out from the balcony it feels like paradise. The buffet was varied and well-cooked each day, we particularly enjoyed the grill section (Joanna was a highlight of the trip!). The reception staff were always happy to help and gave us lots of great info and recommendations. The hotel had a fair number of amenities with a massage/mini spa where we both enjoyed a treatment under their daily deal. Puerto de la Cruz is a beautiful area, we highly reccommend visiting the La Orotova Botanical Gardens.

The reason why I have given 4 stars over 5 is primarily due to our experience as a gay couple in the hotel. We found that the other guests were very judgemental and often stared at us/made remarks across the room - apart from a handful of lovely people. This was made worse when we found many of the male staff (not all of them!) but particularly at the bar really seemed put-off by our presence. Whilst they would joke and laugh with other guests, they were almost silent with us. Please address this with your staff as the servers in the dining room are SO welcoming whilst other staff seemed cold. I want to gently suggest inclusivity training so that all staff can feel more confident around Queer guests. We are not a threat, and personal beliefs should not allow the level of excellent service at Taoro Gardens to suffer - especially because we cannot escape the homophobia from the guests.

I also feel like the rooms could do with a touch up as some of the electrics were a bit temperamental...such as the air-con which didn't really work.

We stayed in mid-September, all-inclusive.

My wife and I spent about 2 weeks in the hotel, booked half-board.Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Positive:
-	Nice ,  large and clean swimming pool.
-	Nice restaurant with large choice at breakfast and diner, good food and very friendly staff.
-	Lovely  garden, we enjoyed the view from our room.

Negative:
-	The air conditioning in the room didn’t work efficiently. We reported it at the reception and got a bottle of wine in the fridge as apologize from the hotel staff, after some maintenance was done. We appreciated the gift, with a letter saying we could get also a ventilator. However, the issue was not really solved. We needed to open the door to the balcony every night, otherwise it would have been too hot.
-	Water : for a 4 stars hotel and a hot place like Tenerife, we would expect that there is free water provided in the room at least upon arrival and on a regular basis.
-	Check In: was too administrative and not very welcoming. As we arrived 1 h before normal check-in time,  the receptionist mentioned we needed  in principle to wait normal check-in time. (We had a 4 h flight on very early morning in addition to the transfer from  the airport.)

We are currently staying at the Taoro. We are 10 days in to our 14 day stay, this hotel is nothing short of exceptional!! When we arrived, and were shown to our room, we received a call from reception making sure we like it, since that first phone call the staff have been wonderful, in particular Erika - who often starts games and entertainment around the pool area, along with Jess - an amazing member of the pool bar! Both of these woman are so friendly , polite , and always happy to help. The hotel is so clean, the food - especially breakfast is gorgeous, and we can’t wait to return. My partner and I recently enjoyed a magnificent all-inclusive holiday here. We can't fault the place - the staff were extremely friendly, and always had smiles on their faces. They would go above and beyond to help in whatever way they could. The room was modern and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were all wonderful, with a huge amount of variety each day and different types of food available from the different counters - there was always something for everyone. The hotel's gardens are beautiful and peaceful, and there is live music each evening in the bar. Puerto de la Cruz itself is also a fantastic little town to explore, and it's only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre from the hotel. There are a lot of steps to climb on the way back, but if this isn't for you then there are regular (and free) shuttle buses that run between the town centre and the hotel. All of this for such a reasonable price too! We would absolutely stay here again!

It is definitely one of the well run hotels that we have come across. We spent 10 days in here. The staff are so friendly, food are delicious, everywhere are so clean. Lots of health plants and trees on a well maintained garden. Thank You for making our holiday so enjoyable. We will come back to see you again.
