I had a mixed experience at this hotel, but the staff were very attentive in correcting what was needed. After we checked in to our room (#112 I believe), one of us used the toilet and the dirty toilet water would spray right out of the toilet when flushed! We notified the individual at the front desk, who explained it was a high pressure toilet, but we asked nicely for an alternate room. Luckily, the hotel was not full, so there were still other rooms available. The new room was small (#105), but was the same room category we paid for initially. It just meant we had to give up an upgraded room. Better to get a smaller room than a larger one with toilet issues, lol. The room was liveable, although the bathroom was much tinier, and there were not enough hooks to hang all the towels or not placed in a convenient location. Yet, there was a sign asking us to conserve energy by hanging up towels that are still intended for further use. There are also a lot of reviews complaining about the noise, but it was no problem for us. Breakfast was lovely and made to order, served by friendly people, with several Greek choices. I also was able to try pancakes with tahini for the first time! In summary, I would just like to commend the male who assisted us in arranging for an alternate room within a prompt 10 minutes, as we were exhausted from a long day of flying.

The hotel is the best! I was last time maybe years ago in Greese and come back to here was amazing memory. The location is excellent 👍, you locate in downtown and everything very closely, local restaurants, clubs and bars. The room very comfortable and matrass with the pillows are great! We had wonderful trip to the Island Rodos and our stay was unbelievable!

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Visiting Rhodes for the first time, we feel like we struck gold with this hotel. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the excellent service, delicious breakfast, and spotless, comfortable rooms—everything was absolutely 5 stars. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be returning to Old Town Rhodes, and when we do, there’s no question—we’ll be staying at the Wine Hotel again. Highly recommend!

I'm not rhe hotel guest. I'm here for breakfast and love the bread here. Service was exceptional excellent.  A waitress Polina has a radiant n welcoming smile.
Prices are reasonable for the quality n service. Better price than those ripped off cafes in the main square.

From the very first moment until the very last, the service was absolutely outstanding.
We arrived at 8 AM just to leave our bags before check-in, but instead we were welcomed with breakfast – such a thoughtful surprise.
Special thanks to the waitress (Polina i think) who greeted us so warmly, to Mrs. Katerina, the owner who treated us with excellent wine in the afternoon, and made sure we felt completely at home.

On our departure day, after leaving our luggage and spending the day at the beach, we were even offered the chance to take a shower before heading out – a gesture that truly shows their care and hospitality.

Excellent accommodation, incredible service, and people who make this hotel truly special.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just a stay – this is an experience to remember. 🌟🍷

This is a really great place to stay in Rhodes.

A family run place and the staff are so very friendly and helpful.

Building is modern and clean.  Good air conditioning. Really fantastic location for exploring.

Suggestions to improve further would be to improve beds - some in our party found them too firm.  Same with sofas.  Also the blue light from the bathroom mirrors made the rooms quite light at night.  All minor points in the overall experience which was fab.

Very nice hotel in the middle of the old town. Very friendly staff amazing a la carte breakfast and spacious room. We had a perfect stay here and would definitely come back. The wine tasting was just perfect we could choose the wines we want to try and got a very nice and huge platter with cheese and cold cuts salmon bruschettas and more. We used the gym aswell it is small but okey:) We had a very good time thank you for all!
