Overall in general we had a very positive experience and really enjoyed our stay! We would come back to this hotel if we were ever coming back to this area of Side!
I was worried when I'd read a couple of reviews saying the food was bad etc however the food is amazing! I think the bad reviews about the food comes from Brits who want to eat chicken nuggets and pizza every day, the kind of people who don't like to try new things. There is a wonderful selection of Mediterranean food, fruit, veg and dessert. The BBQ is amazing!
I would say dessert always looked wonderful but mostly tasted the same so that is the only food area that was a let down.
I feel our room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom.
The hotel itself is kept very clean by the hard working staff.
The service from staff is wonderful too, staff are all very friendly and helpful!
The animation team were great, lots of different activities and things to do, something to suit everyone of all ages!
The beach is nice, the bus comes quickly, never really had to wait more than a few minutes. The beach is busy but plenty of loungers and space.

The thing that let this hotel down massively was the spa. The steam room had an awful damp/mould smell and the salt room is absolutely dire, a total dump, horrible. I feel this really lets the hotel down. The spa staff were really lovely, friendly and kind, cannot fault the spa staff at all!

The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and hardworking. The private beach is large and very nice, but it is not directly at the hotel – you need to take the shuttle (about 5 minutes, every 10 minutes). Pools and common areas are enjoyable, making the setting good for relaxing.

However, several details didn’t meet 5-star expectations:
•	Only one small elevator (4 persons) per wing, leading to long waiting times.
•	No bathrobes or slippers in the rooms.
•	International food options are poorly prepared (even waffles), and the “Ultra All Inclusive” label is misleading – à la carte restaurants (€25 p.p.) and spa treatments cost extra.
•	Families with small children will struggle, as there are no proper healthy kids’ meals.
•	Double rooms only have two single beds pushed together, and air conditioners aren’t well maintained. Technicians are incompetent
•	Bathroom doors don’t fully close (cutout at top), there’s no ventilation, and no room sprays are provided. As a result, bad smells and noises spread easily into the room.
•	The hotel is quite isolated; nothing is within walking distance. The taxis waiting outside overcharge and refuse to use the meter.
•	The beach bar is outdated and in poor condition. The interior has been repainted several times, but fresh paint can no longer cover the wear and tear.
•	The animation team is weak and uninspired – far below the level of entertainment usually offered in Turkey.
•	The main target group seems to be German pensioners. As a result, the familiar problem occurs: many Germans reserve pool and beach loungers with towels at sunrise, making it hard to find a free spot later in the day.

When you compare 5-star resorts in Turkey with those in Bulgaria or Thailand, the difference is clear: in Service, food quality, and overall standards often feel more consistent and modern, while in Turkey it seems like hotels rely too much on their past reputation. What was once the number one holiday destination now feels like it has rested on its success and started cutting corners.

Edit: During our stay, many guests, including us, fell ill with a stomach flu. That's why I lower the rating to one star.

A super hotel where you feel wanted and welcome. The food and cleanliness are excellent. The value for money is also excellent. I particularly liked the entertainment, which is run by a very good team. The highlight here is the entertainer, Mike, who really encourages guests to participate.
But even outside of the entertainment, he is always friendly and chats with the guests!

Amazing hotel,good variety of food and sweet... And alcohol of corse local (as Turkish standard). We came on October beer festival... Amazing... Is not on the beach but you have the shuttle bus on the doorstep of the hotel until the beach is just 3 minutes drive... Is going every 5 minutes.
You have as well on the beach restaurant and drinks you don't have to be worry.
The beach is amazing nice gold sand no stones... Perfect for kids as well.

I spent my vacation from August 31st to 2025, and my stay was very enjoyable. The service was very helpful, the food was delicious, and everyone could find something to enjoy. The animators did a great job preparing the activities, and there were entertainment programs featuring different topics every evening. I highly recommend Terrace Elite Resort
