1. Accommodations and Hygiene (5/5)
The room experience was excellent. Hygiene and cleanliness were impeccable, with prompt and thorough daily service earning a full 5/5 rating.
* Amenities: The mini-refrigerator was refilled daily with complimentary water bottles. A water boiler, Nescafé, tea, coffee mate, and sugar were conveniently provided.
2. Connectivity and Lobby Environment (3/5)
WiFi performance was a notable area for improvement. While complimentary WiFi is available in the lobby, the speed is slow (3/5). In-room WiFi is available, but incurs a charge, which is unexpected for a hotel of this class.
The lobby environment presents comfort issues that impact the overall guest experience:
* Smoking Area: The designated smoking place at the entrance is too close to the main lobby, causing a strong and unpleasant smoke smell inside.
* Pests: The presence of mosquitoes in the lobby area makes it uncomfortable to sit there.
It is strongly suggested that management relocate the smoking area and address the mosquito issue to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for all guests, particularly those with allergies or asthma.
3. Location (4/5)
The hotel's location is generally favorable. It is situated in a safe and small town, close to local shops and markets, making it convenient for families. The location is approximately 13 km from Alanya.
4. Beach Access (4/5)
The hotel features its own private beach, accessible via a pleasant five-minute walk. The beach is well-equipped with sufficient sun parasols and seating.
* Note: The beach has a rocky surface and frequently experiences big waves.
5. Food, Desserts, and Drinks
The dining options were rated as fair, but inconsistent with a five-star rating.
* Breakfast (3/5): The selection is simple and offers limited variety, failing to reflect the expected breadth of a five-star hotel menu.
* Lunch (4/5) & Dinner (4/5): Both meals were acceptable but could be improved.
* Quality Highlights: Salads were consistently fresh and delicious. Desserts were impressive, featuring a large, beautiful cake daily.
* Beverages: Complimentary juices are artificially sweetened. Fresh orange juice is available for a charge of 2€.
6. Guest Service (4/5)
The reception and general staff were friendly and provided good service overall.
* Serious Incident: A concerning event occurred on the beach where an employee used inappropriate or "very bad words" in turkish toward after a family left whose children were playing and digging a hole in the sand next to their seat. This behavior is unacceptable and requires immediate management attention and staff training.
7. Wellness and Activities
Fitness Gym (2/5)
The gym is considered small and basic, especially given the hotel's five-star status. Furthermore, the operating hours are highly restrictive (7:00–19:00). Flexible hours would be greatly appreciated by guests.
Pools (4/5)
The outside pool is rated highly. However, the indoor pool hours are severely limited (7:00–10:00 and 17:00–18:00). It would be beneficial to extend the indoor pool hours to match the outside pool hours, taking necessary time for required cleaning and filtering.
Activities (3.5/5)
Activity offerings could be improved. It is suggested that announcements and schedules be clearly posted in the reception area and that the announcement board times are consistently updated to ensure guests are aware of the daily program.
8. General Recommendation
The hotel name sign over the entrance is currently obscured and hidden by the surrounding trees. Moving the sign to a more obvious position would be beneficial for guests trying to find the hotel, particularly on arrival.

Nice hotel overall, great value in my opinion. Food is spectacular. There is a lot of children though, which makes the hotel quite noisy and the pools crowded. There are rocks after a few steps into the sea. You might wait quite a while for the elevator around breakfast, lunch and dinner, because there are only 2 elevators for the whole hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean, the cleaning service is thorough. Shops are within walking distance.

It was supposed to be a perfect family holiday—15 of us, including six elderly relatives. Everything seemed set, but the trouble began when we arrived. We reached the hotel after 10 p.m., and the airport transfer had been arranged and confirmed by our travel agency. However, upon arrival, we were told our rooms weren’t ready, and we’d have to sleep in different room categories, with a promised move the next morning. Inconvenient, but it happens.

The next morning, we all went to change rooms—and to our surprise, our rooms still weren’t ready, and we would have to wait until after midday. We questioned how this was possible, since the reservation had been made over four months earlier and full payment was made in advance. The receptionist on duty… was completely unprofessional. He laughed, dismissively saying nothing could be done and that we’d just have to wait. We were stressed, with no idea when our rooms would be available, and he literally laughed in our faces. We asked for the manager—and shockingly, he was the manager. He behaved aggressively, told one person “don’t touch me,” and even threatened to cancel all our rooms and deny us access. Our elderly family members became distressed, confused by what was happening. He simply blamed us for arriving late at the hotel.

Eventually he calmed down, and the room change happened in the mid-afternoon. The next day, the travel agency representative from Join Up spoke with us. We reported the incident, and she replied that nothing could be done—that the manager often behaves rudely with other guests, and that this attitude was, in her words, “normal for him.”

After all that stress, the rest of our stay went smoothly. The food was good, other staff were always very friendly, the hotel infrastructure was decent, the rooms were new and clean, the beach was only a few minutes away, and the beach bar served quality food and drinks. It was only that one man, however, who made our holiday so excruciating—and someone so unfit for resolving internal problems shouldn’t be dealing directly with guests.
Please note that the hotel is very family-oriented, with many children and mostly Muslim guests. While this is not a problem at all, it may be best to avoid showing too much public affection with your partner in order to prevent any misunderstandings.

Our family had an amazing time at Telatiye Resort Hotel! The staff were always welcoming and smiling, making us feel right at home.

A special highlight of our stay was the amazing animation team – they kept the kids entertained and engaged every single day! It was such a joy to see them busy, happy, and having so much fun.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to Fatin and the incredible massage master Mustafa from the Spa. I arrived with severe back pain, barely able to walk, and after just a few massage sessions, I felt completely recovered – truly 💯 healed! Their professionalism, care, and skill were beyond expectations.

This hotel is not just a place to relax, but also a place to rejuvenate and heal. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and restorative holiday. We’re already planning to return next year with our parents to enjoy another round of recovery and relaxation.

We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We were a group and booked 4 rooms in advance, but at check-in they told us they could only give us 2 rooms, and the other 2 would only be available the next day because they had overbooked. We ended up arguing with them for nearly 3 hours before they finally gave us 3 rooms for the first night.

On the second day, we had to move rooms again just to finally get all 4 rooms we had originally booked. This meant we wasted the first two days of our holiday dealing with unnecessary problems and stress. The staff were polite, and I understand it wasn’t directly their fault, but it certainly wasn’t ours either.

The manager, unfortunately, was dishonest. Instead of admitting to the overbooking, he tried to cover it up by saying it was a “water issue.” They assured us we would be refunded for the first night, but when we requested it through Booking.com, they refused to honor it.

Overall, a very disappointing stay.
