We had a wonderful family holiday at Sunmelia Beach Resort & Spa. The hotel is clean, spacious, and very well organized. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
Our children especially enjoyed the pools, water slides, and daily entertainment activities. The beach is beautiful and well maintained, providing a perfect place to relax. There were plenty of activities for both adults and children, making every day enjoyable.
The overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and we felt truly valued as guests. We were so happy with our experience that we decided to return again this year.
Highly recommended for families looking for a great all-inclusive holiday in Turkey!

The overral experience here was great.
1. We reserved a bunked bed room for the kids and upon arrival we received a family apartment with two rooms, two bathrooms and one big balcony, it was absolutely perfect for a family of four. It was a very pleasant surprise to receive this room. Daily cleaning and towel change, daily ressuplying the fridge...everything good.
2. The service was great overral, in the beach bars, lobby bar, etc. Food was good, more than enough and diversified.
3. The beach was quite good, just that there were a lot of rocks on the shore and beach shoes should be a must have for this beach. The water got quite deep at a very close distance from the shore, apox. 2 metres. So children must have floating devices upon them.
4. The waterslides were very nice and well maintained, suitable for all ages. Also the pools were maitained and water was clean and very warm.
5. The thing I liked the most about the resort was the abundance of vegetation, from palm trees, to ornamental flowers and bushes, etc...it was like a jungle vibe going on there 😀
6. The thing that wasn't maybe that pleasing was that the coffee was awful at almost all the locations where they served such drinks, apart from the lobby bar which had very good coffee, but that was the only place you could serve a decent coffee and I only figured it out in the 4th day of our stay, with the help of an employee.
7. The a la carte restaurants were great and dishes were very good.
I very much enjoyed our experience there, me and my family and I would recommend the hotel for sure.
As a suggestion, maybe serve better quality drinks in more locations throughout the hotel, not only the lobby bar, which was great, especially the coffee, those automatic coffee machines are quite outdated and lack quality for the drinks which they provide, whether it is coffee or hot chocolate, etc.
Also, consider hosting the parties on the beach stage because the noise went on quite late in the night and it was a bit disturbing sometimes.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious dishes, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The beach was beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing.
Small issues, such as an occasional forgotten towel for our room, can easily be overlooked, as these things happen and did not affect our overall experience.
The only negative part of our stay was our experience at the reception, specifically with Sylvia. Unfortunately, her attitude did not meet the standards we expected from a hotel of this level. She seemed uninterested, unhelpful, and unwilling to assist, which left a disappointing impression.
Despite this, thanks to the excellent food, the wonderful staff, and the beautiful beach, we had a great stay. We hope the hotel will improve the level of service at the reception so that every guest can have a completely positive experience.

Last Wednesday, we checked into this hotel. At first glance, everything seemed fine. However, once we entered the room, we immediately noticed that the floor was dirty. Our daughter walked on it for only a few seconds in her socks, and they were already completely black.

On Thursday, our room was not cleaned. We thought, “these things can happen,” so I simply asked for clean towels myself so we could still take a shower.

On Friday, the room was not cleaned again. The only thing housekeeping did that day was replace the trash bag in the bedroom, but not in the bathroom. Fortunately, we did receive clean towels again.

On Saturday, the room was once again not cleaned. This time, I decided to report it at the lobby. The young man at the front desk was friendly, but explained that there was no housekeeping staff available in the evening and that someone would come the next morning.

In an entire week, housekeeping properly cleaned our room only once — and even that could hardly be called a thorough cleaning.

Based on the hygiene standards alone, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

As for the food, everyone knows that in hotels like this you usually get standard, simple meals. The food was always just “okay” — nothing terrible, but certainly not great either.

What was more concerning, however, was the information provided in the room. There was a form listing opening times and additional information about the facilities. It stated that a “late night” meal service was available from 1:00 AM until 7:00 AM. My husband went downstairs at 1:07 AM to get something to eat before we checked out an hour later to travel home. To his surprise, everything was already gone just seven minutes after the dining area had supposedly opened. Keep in mind that he was the only person there. I will also add photos as proof.

As mentioned above, we checked out during the night. When we arrived at the lobby, the employees were sitting in the back room. They slowly came out without greeting us or saying anything at all. After about a minute, one of them simply asked, “Checking out?” We answered yes. He asked for our room number and checked us out. At no point were we asked how our stay had been, whether we needed any assistance, or even wished a safe trip home or a good evening.

Overall, the lack of hygiene, poor service, and unprofessional attitude made this a very disappointing experience.

We stayed here with our two young children (9 months and 3 years old) and booked a Superior Room with a Front Sea View. Upon arrival, we were placed in a room overlooking a field instead of the sea. Reception first offered us another unsuitable room, and only after involving our travel agency and Guest Relations did they suddenly find the room we had actually paid for. Unfortunately, this meant wasting another day of our holiday packing, unpacking, and moving all our luggage.
Housekeeping was virtually non-existent during the first three days—no clean towels, no trash collection, and no bed linen change until we complained.
The food is varied, but far from what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Cleanliness around the buffet is questionable (some equipment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months), and only 30 minutes after breakfast opened, basic items such as eggs and doughnuts were already gone, with no effort from the staff to refill them.
The “Ultra All Inclusive” concept is nothing more than a marketing label. The drink selection is very limited, the quality of the local alcohol is poor, and long queues at the bars are the norm. In reality, there is very little that makes it “Ultra.”
The biggest disappointment was the evening entertainment. Music from the amphitheater/pool is extremely loud and regularly continues until after 1:00 AM, making it almost impossible to sleep—especially for families with young children. This issue seriously needs to be addressed.
Overall, the hotel looks much better in the photos than it does in reality. It has potential, but poor management, inconsistent service, misleading advertising, and a lack of attention to guests make it impossible for me to recommend it.
