We spent almost two wonderful weeks at Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort, surrounded by sunshine, a beautiful sea, and a very clean and well-maintained environment. It was truly a relaxing and memorable stay.

From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional, and we quickly felt a personal connection with many team members. The hospitality was sincere and warm, while maintaining a high level of service and organization.

The hotel showed excellent professionalism, especially during an unexpected situation when our flight was cancelled due to bad weather. We would like to especially thank the hotel manager, Mr. Hamid, for his professional approach, clear communication, and efficient handling of the situation. All necessary arrangements were made immediately, allowing us to extend our stay safely and without stress. This support was greatly appreciated.

Our room was always clean, tidy, and well maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. At the reception, the staff was always attentive, helpful, and ready to assist with any request.

The food was varied and well organized. Meals were served three times a day, with different options daily, and everything was tasty and prepared with care.

A special thank you to the animation team for their energy and professionalism. They were friendly, enthusiastic, and created a wonderful atmosphere with music, dancing, and evening shows. We especially enjoyed the positive spirit of “Snoop Dog” and Samba, who made the entertainment even more enjoyable and helped guests feel included.

Most of all, we appreciated the people. Their kindness, friendliness, and positive energy made our stay truly special. Over time, it felt less like a hotel and more like a place where genuine connections and friendships were created.

My son and I spent nearly 20 beautiful days here — days that will remain in our hearts forever. We are leaving with memories filled with sunshine, smiles, warmth, kindness, and friendship.

We are very grateful to everyone at Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort and would confidently recommend this hotel to others. If you plan to visit, come without high expectations — simply enjoy the sun, the sea, and the sincere hospitality of this lovely place.

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and it has an amazing beach with a coral reef and beautiful colorful fishes. Inside the hotel you can find trip organizers who offer you a huge selection of programs including snorkelling in the Red See, visiting islands around Hurghada, going to Quad Safari in the desert, visiting Luxor or Cairo. The taxi driver, Hassan, is really kind guy, AirPort shuttle or going to a local café is nice experience with him. The food is nice, you can find grilled fish, meat and a variety of salads and desserts. The hotel is really worth the money and gives you a nice experience.

I stayed at this hotel in June and overall had a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I missed my connecting flight and arrived a day later than planned. However, since I contacted the hotel in advance, they kindly held my room for me, which I greatly appreciated.
On the day of departure, my return flight was scheduled late at night. After checkout, I was able to wait in the lobby for a while, or alternatively, use the option of a late checkout until 5:00 PM for an additional fee. While I would have appreciated a complimentary late checkout as a gesture of goodwill—considering I lost two days at the beginning of my trip—I was still thankful for the flexibility offered.
A special thanks goes to the housekeeping team, who were extremely hardworking and attentive. I unfortunately don’t recall the names, but they were very kind and made sure I never lacked anything during my stay. I would also like to highlight Rio from the animation team, who brought a lot of joy and energy to the guests every day. It was impressive how many different languages the staff spoke—it truly made me feel welcome at all times.
The food was more than adequate for the price paid, and the restaurant staff did an excellent job. Even during busy times, they were quick to help find a table and provided very good service throughout—thank you for that.
At the reception, however, I encountered some difficulties. One staff member initially refused to provide me with a second room card, which I needed to charge my electronic devices in the room while I was away. As someone who also works as a receptionist, I understand the procedures very well and explained that I did not need a coded key, only a card to activate the electricity. I was told instead to insert a credit card or ID card, which I consider unsafe and impractical. After returning a third time, I was eventually given a second card, but it was accidentally coded for another guest’s room—which could have been a security risk. My suggestion for improvement would be either to allow power in the room without requiring the card, or to provide an unencoded second card upon request.
I would also like to praise Mr. Mohammad Tamam (I hope I recall the name correctly), who works at the lobby bar and wears glasses. His service was excellent, as was the service of another young gentleman who often worked alongside him.
All in all, I can say that this hotel offers a very good stay for the budget. The beach is beautiful, and the pools are also well maintained. My only recommendation for future guests would be to consider purchasing an eSIM or extra internet package, as Wi-Fi is only available at the reception. Then again, perhaps having less internet access makes for a more relaxing holiday.
I would be happy to return again someday.

A old hotel, very where you look it has many signs of being worn down, and looks like nothing is being done to prevent it from even be looking more worn down within next couple of years...
many tiles loose in the pool, the food  and the way it's served is just not good in any ways.
Service in the reception was awesome when arrived big ups for the young guy there did the check-in 👌. But the guy at check-out... he definitely need to have another job, it seems like he had no soul and was more a zombie and really couldn't care less about you leaving or what ever you did there, he only just wanted you to foooork off, so he could keep scrolling on his phone.
I STOD FOR FULL 2 MIN. AT THE RECEPTION DESK, AND WAITED FOR HIM TO SEE ME, cos he was on his private phone scrolling....
When on a sunbed in the hotel closed area you still getting bothered and asked by intern salesmen to buy random trips or experience every fooooorking day.
In all a really bad experience and will never ever recommended this place to anyone, stay away and use your money on a better place.

Stayed at this hotel for over a week.
The rooms were very spacious & cleaned every day. The food was great with a good choice of mains & desserts.  The restaurant staff were exceptionally polite & helpful. Especially Abdullah & Momin.
The beach is very close to the hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The animation staff were very good at first, they then changed the team & the quality went down.
The excursion sellers on the beach were a bit annoying. Having shops on the complex was useful.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would return.

This year we were already in the Sphinx for the second time, the third time overall. It is our least favorite hotel. We feel at home here, we like to come back here and we don't want another hotel - that's why we're already starting to think about our next vacation, even though we came back 2 days ago :-) The staff is always nice, helpful, friendly. It's all about communication and politeness. As for the food - the choice is large, the food is great, tasty from fruit, vegetables, sweet, salty to main courses. It's the same with drinks - drinks are included in the price and those who don't choose can order beer or mixed drinks. The environment in the area is also constantly being improved. The cleaning services are great - if you want, you have daily bed changes, clean towels, water and hygiene items in the room every day.   Smaller and older children can have fun in the water park, which is part of the complex. A few days ago, we met the owner of the hotel in person, who is very pleasant and respects his employees. Absolute satisfaction for us and we have nothing to complain about!! Thank you very much for another fantastic holiday and we look forward to seeing you again :-)
