Nice hotel.  We had a family room which was much smaller than in photos, and storage for the 4 of us was difficult. However they are clean rooms, comfy beds and great aircon.  Main restaurant was great, food is tasty, lots to choose from. Not overly geared up for the British but just try it, most of it’s delicious.  We have 2 teenage boys one of which is very fussy but we found some things he could eat.  Cereals for breakfast, pastries, chips at lunch time and evening, pizza etc.  Pancakes and waffles etc from 3.30.  Staff are friendly and attentive.  All very clean. Entertainment was great, a couple of shows outside, singer, music etc.  During the day they had various pool games, darts, aerobics etc.  we went in August and it was extremely hot!  Location is perfect, near beach, bars and restaurants if you want to venture out.

Our recent week-long stay at this establishment provided a truly exceptional holiday experience. The weather was exceptionally warm, and the pool and beach were maintained to a high standard, offering clean and inviting conditions. The staff demonstrated commendable dedication and provided excellent service. While some reviews have criticized the expectation of gratuities, it is a standard practice within the hospitality industry. We chose to reward staff members who exceeded expectations, recognizing that small gestures of appreciation were well-received. Although the food selection could become repetitive, there were always options available. The location is ideal. The only significant drawback was the room configuration. Our party consisted of two adults and a teenage son, and the single room arrangement lacked privacy. We were quoted £1,100 to upgrade for the week, and ultimately, an additional bed was accommodated in our existing room. Despite this, we managed comfortably for the duration of our stay. As a friendly reminder, please be aware that early placement of sunbed towels to reserve seating may result in their removal by staff if the beds are unoccupied. This policy, while intended to ensure fair access, has occasionally led to misunderstandings among guests. Please note that the enforcement of this policy may vary and not be daily. Im all for the rule but please do this every day and not when you choose.

The best hotel with the best staff very friendly and helpful all the time. The hotel is very clean and great food. The staff make the holiday they are so good. It one of the best hotels we've been to and will definitely come again. We came as a family of 10 people and the staff couldn't do enough for us.

After a sleepless night flight with a child and an elderly mother, we arrived at the hotel around 8 a.m. Hoping for early check-in, we approached the front desk — only to be told that check-in is strictly at 2:00 p.m., no flexibility, no understanding of our situation.

By the pool, all sunbeds were already “taken” — people leave their towels overnight to reserve spots. We saw it with our own eyes: not a single free lounger, and no staff intervenes.

The food is a disaster. Every dessert tastes like the same bland mix of starch, sugar, and powdered milk. Fruits are limp and the main dishes are oddly spiced — not for everyone.

The final straw: I dived into the pool and was greeted by a clump of hair and floating debris. The water was cloudy, with bits of unknown origin floating around — truly unpleasant.

And this was just the first 6 hours of our 10-day vacation. If you have a choice — especially if you’re traveling with children or elderly family — I strongly advise choosing a different place. One star only because it’s not possible to give a negative rating.

Disappointing Stay - Not Worthy of 4 Stars

We stayed at the hotel from June 8-15, 2025 (my wife, our 5-month-old baby, and my mother-in-law). While the first impression was positive — the luggage staff and receptionist were very friendly — the overall experience fell far short of what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel.

Room & Air Conditioning Issues
We were assigned a family room (two rooms, four beds), which unfortunately never cooled down properly. Despite running the AC overnight on arrival, the temperature remained uncomfortably warm. I reported the issue the next morning, and a technician claimed it was fixed and would “take the night to cool.” That seemed questionable, but we gave it time.

By the following day, the room was still hot. After two more technician visits and a sensor replacement, the AC finally began to work — three days into our stay. Meanwhile, the electricity in our room became unreliable. A second technician resolved this by bypassing the key card mechanism, which didn't inspire much confidence. To top it off, the water pressure and temperature control in the shower were poor (see attached video).

Excessive Noise - Not Family-Friendly
The biggest issue for us — especially with a baby — was the extremely loud music played daily at the pool. Despite the hotel's website mentioning poolside music as part of the animation program, it fails to mention that this music reaches 80 decibels inside the rooms (we were in Room 421). This made it nearly impossible for our baby to sleep before 22:00, when the music finally stopped. It was neither relaxing nor family-friendly.

Food & Drinks
The food was repetitive, bland, and far from what you'd expect at a 4-star establishment. It seemed designed to suit the taste of an older clientele — perhaps explaining the overwhelmingly positive reviews from guests who seemed to average around 70 years old. The alcohol was low quality, and the cocktails were wildly inconsistent, sometimes undrinkable.

Service & Tipping Culture
The hotel staff were generally friendly, but service in the restaurant felt conditional. We noticed that unless you tipped the waitstaff, you were often overlooked for drinks. There are tipping boxes at nearly every station — reception, bar, restaurant — which gives the impression that tipping is expected just to receive standard service.

Final Thoughts
The only real positives were the proximity to the beach and the polite staff. But with unreliable air conditioning, unbearable noise levels, subpar food, and awkward service expectations, this hotel does not live up to its 4-star rating — especially not for families with young children.
