We loved the hotel. Great room, staff were wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful and the service there was fantastic, as was breakfast. Could possibly do with a bar area to relax in but apart from that we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The rooms were spacious, clean and equipped with the standard utensils. The location is quite and the staff friendly. The breakfast was also ok. It's good quality for a 3 Star hotel and we would stay here again.

We had a lovely experience at this hotel. The reception staff were so helpful and lovely. Thank you for making the experience so beautiful and positive. The cleaners did an amazing job every day and the hotel is impeccable. A special mention to Marina who helped us book our massages last minute- we are so grateful. You all went above and beyond, you were so patient and kind; muchos gracias! We had the best time in Spain and can’t wait to return.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and will not be returning.

The WiFi in my room was terrible, barely working at all, making it impossible for me to get any work done. If you need to be connected during your trip, rethink staying here. The room had nice, large windows, but the curtains were useless. Daylight poured in every morning, and streetlights kept the room lit all night. If you work late hours or like to sleep in, this is not the place for you.

The biggest issue, however, came with the breakfast. I paid the extra €12 per person, per day for the convenience of having breakfast in the hotel because my wife was recovering from surgery and could barely walk or sit up. My plan was simple: bring her a plate of food in bed. After explaining the situation to the staff, the manager, cold, with a painted-on corporate smile, told me that no food was allowed to leave the dining area. The best they could offer was “a piece of fruit.”

When I asked for a refund for the breakfast portion, I was told no, it was “impossible.” As someone who works in restaurants, I can tell you they are making a huge profit margin on this €12 charge, especially given the food was below basic quality for Spain. Yet they refused to offer any refund, accommodation, or compassion. To offer only “a piece of fruit” was insulting, and it made clear they could adjust the rule if they wanted to, but chose not to.

The manager made no effort to sympathize with our situation. Instead, she defended the policy. First, she told me I was not from there and that this was “normal.” Not exactly welcoming, considering almost all of their guests are not from there. Then she said guests try to steal food, hoarding it like cartoon misers. I reminded her I was not trying to steal, I just wanted to feed my recovering wife. When I explained how stressful this all was, she laughed and nodded.

The service here is indifferent to the human experience, and at times felt downright cruel in the way they hide behind money-saving policies. It left me wondering if this attitude comes from corporate, who must view their guests as potential thieves, or from staff who seemed to enjoy saying “no.”

And yes, I know they will reply to this review with the same canned line they use on every bad review, “We are sorry and we will try to do better next time.” Let me save them the trouble. I, my family, and my business will never book with Sercotel again. And I doubt most of the other one-star reviewers will either. You blew it, not just for this location, but for your entire chain.

Great location, good rooms, excellent service and off street parking. Excellent customer service at reception and for breakfast. Restaurant is separate from the hotel and the food and service is superb.
