Just returned from a short break staying at Royal Jinene and had a lovely time, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the gorgeous Faatin on reception. We had a lovely meal on New Years Eve, followed by drinkies in the pool bar, where the staff sprinkled our table with petals creating a romantic memento for my wife and I. There was always plenty of food and variety in the restaurant. We each had great massages at the spa (thank you Nour!) too, highly recommended. We will return in future, inshallah! :-)

Very friendly staff. Take every effort to take care of needs. Hotel is lightly outdated and needs modernised. Rooms are very spacious, bathroom could also be updated. Food was good but highly recommended upgrading food with more variety.

Terrible Terrible Terrible. You are greeted with cigarette smoke as you enter the hotel. Food is horrible. Same food everyday. We had to go out to eat everyday despite being on an all-inclusive deal. I will never ever go back. The hotel rooms were our solace. Very spacious and beautiful. Other than that, no reason to ever go there

So first of all, we turned up and instantly regretted booking this hotel, just seeing the netted curtains we knew, we walked in and although the reception area looked a bit more modernised; don’t let this fool you! We checked in and received a large key ring attached to our hotel key that we had to carry all day long! We came to put our luggage away and the rooms seems to be very nice UNTIL we looked properly, the bath tub were full of mould, the beds were mouldy (may I add I’m allergic to this) the rooms are icy cold, the “sea view” we have paid more for didn’t mention that between the hotel and sea is a farm, outdated children’s play area (park) mini golf with a tiny floaty boat on it, basketball and tennis court, the beach bar seems to be nice BUT the security and bar men seem a bit obsessed with ALL the women, what they also don’t mention is the fact that the “royal jinene hotel” is just below “jinene hotel” and the “jinene hotel” is Infact where all the immigrants come, they pull up to the beaches a bit further on from the semi-private beach, then they take over the seated areas outside, the pool area, the restaurant and anything else that maybe there to the point we couldn’t even sit down to watch the entertainment if that’s what you would call it, women of all ages twerking in front of a row of men rated out of 20. Disgusting! The restaurant is only good if you’re there first ones in there, as you’re 75% guaranteed to get a clean table cloth and knives and forks, the food is ALWAYS cold, no matter your choice, the coffees are disgusting to the point we went to the local supermarket for proper coffee, there were one night where we had gone to eat and there were no plates, cutlery or anywhere to sit forcing us to order out, the alcohol isn’t great unless your prepared to pay for it; which you shouldn’t have to, the hotel is definitely a 2* and that’s being nice, the cleaners are great the bar staff seem to think pouting us a glass of pop seem to be a massive inconvenience, I’m not sure how much the people were paid to give good reviews but it must have been a lot; pool area is quiet with no music, beach bar is your bet bet!! The holidays been so bad we have looked to end our holiday 3 days early and with the next flight back home being the day before we fly-this is the only reason I’m still here, watered down alcohol, food is definitely not edible, with the meat either been raw OR overcooked and cold, there’s no In between, i hope you get to see this before you booked because we didn’t look too much into it; avoid at all costs

What a beautiful place beautiful beach it’s safe to walk around yeah they do need to sort some problems out but apart from that the staff in the hotel are amazing always wanna help you especially the young lady on the front desk called faten she is such a kind lovely person that always willing to help you a matter what she’s got a real good heart and her English is perfect. A lot of the other staff don’t speak too much good English but the entertainment guy at the bar the one what does the talking on the microphone? This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. The food was messy with no real choices, and the staff were extremely rude — even to children who simply asked for drinks. The swimming pool was dirty and unhygienic, clearly never maintained. On top of that, the views were terrible, nothing like what was promised. Honestly, this place doesn’t feel like a real hotel, and I would never recommend it to anyone.
