Set on a 45-hectare former sugarcane plantation, this elegant, beachfront resort is 18 km from both Sangster International Airport and downtown Montego Bay.
A waterfront infinity pool with pool bar is perfect for sipping cocktails by day. A second pool can be found at the tranquil Elemis spa. Windsurfing and glass-bottom boat rides are included, whilst waterskiing, sailing and scuba diving are all payable locally. There is a fitness room (yoga payable locally), jogging track, five tennis courts (complimentary tennis clinics offered in summer), plus Pineapple Kids' Club (3-12 year olds). Two restaurant choices (one seasonal) offer fresh local food, and there is also beach service and afternoon tea in the Ralph Lauren bar, which by night is a heavenly cocktail bar.
Each of the 36 rooms in the two-storey oceanfront pineapple House has airconditioning, fan, CD player, coffee making facilities, bath, shower and gorgeous views. There are also 74 suites in 27 villas and cottages. Deluxe villa suites have shared pools. Two, three, four, five and six bedroom villas with private pools are available on request.
