Our stay at Riad Dar Bounouar was truly memorable! The heated pool and spacious deck created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and gathering, even with our large group of 30 people. The staff managed everything seamlessly, and the dinner was absolutely delicious — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. This riad combines comfort, hospitality, and charm in the heart of Marrakech. Highly recommended for groups looking for both elegance and warmth!

The welcome was warm, the place is beautiful and full of charm and comfy, and the team did a great job, felt completely at home, enjoying a calm and authentic atmosphere. A truly lovely experience that we highly recommend without hesitation.

Magnificent traditional Riad in the centre of old Mdina,  short walk from main square and all shops and food. But what really made our stay great was the people who work at the Riad,  especially Oussamma. They are super friendly and helpful,  no request is to much.

We had a fantastic long weekend in Marrakech and the Riad was wonderful. It felt like having our own home in the heart of the Medina. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast is outstanding. The decor is beautiful and the pool and roof terrace are ideal, especially when it's 35 degrees! Would highly recommend if you want a relaxed and authentic stay in a great location.

Fantastic stay here, Oussama went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and even order us a cake for my birthday!

The rooms were fantastic and the setting was amazing, really picturesque and quiet with a lovely terrace. It is situated in a great location too, with nothing far away.

Mohammed and the ladies that make the breakfast are great and cannot do enough to make sure you are ok.

We had such a wonderful stay at this riad! At first it can be a little tricky to find, but if you contact the riad—especially Oussama—they will arrange an airport transfer and personally pick you up, which made our arrival completely stress-free and easy.

The location is excellent: it’s within walking distance to the city, so very convenient, but still quiet and peaceful at night. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the staff with warm smiles and kind greetings. Everyone was lovely, but Oussama truly went above and beyond. He is such a trustworthy, attentive, and caring person who made sure me, my sister, and my mother felt safe and comfortable throughout our whole trip. He gave us his number and always replied very quickly if we needed help. He even picked us up from the bus stop late at night after our Agafay desert trip and walked us back safely—a huge reassurance for us as three women visiting Marrakech for the first time. He also helped us print our boarding passes, sorted out our SIM cards, and was always checking in on us with a smile.

The riad itself is beautiful. The room was clean, the shower worked perfectly, and we didn’t have any issues like bugs. The pool is a great bonus—we could swim whenever we liked. The interior design with the greenery and plants is stunning, especially in the morning, and we even saw a tortoise walking around the courtyard which was such a sweet surprise! There’s also a lovely rooftop terrace to relax on.

Breakfast is offered for an extra charge, but it was worth it—very filling with a delicious Moroccan spread, fresh orange juice, tea, and coffee. On arrival, we were also offered tea, which was such a nice touch after our journey. The Wi-Fi can sometimes be a little weak, but usually works fine if you quickly turn it off and back on again.

Overall, our experience here was fantastic—stress-free, safe, and thoroughly enjoyable. A big thank you to all the staff, and especially to Oussama for making our first time in Marrakech so memorable. We would highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting!

The location inside the Medina is very central and above all the Riad itself is very quite (this is true that the hotel was not full when we went there). While the common areas look stunning, the rooms were a bit small and the bathroom smelt funny. Definitely not a 4 star. The wifi didn’t work and due to the location being bery stucked, our data signals didn’t work either and it’s difficult to get taxis.
