Riad Armelle was amazing. Beautiful with authentic Moroccan decor. Located inside the walls ofold town and within easy walking distance to square and market. Streets in front are chaotic but the Riad is very peaceful.   Special shout out to their driver Omar who took us to the Atlas mountains and camel riding. He is awesome. Thank you Riad Armelle and Omar for a wonderful 4 days.

Amazing, beautiful Riad, wonderful staff.
I was a bit skeptical after reading the comment about the AC being weak. Nonsense. We set the air conditioning so high that we froze - with 40 degrees Celsius outside.
The only real downside I can find are the surrounding streets. They're narrower and more chaotic than most in the medina. The Riad, however, is an oasis of peace.

Cici, the hostess, is an absolute asset to this Riad. She looks after her guests as if they are family - nothing is too much trouble.  The Riad is obviously an older building, but it is exquisitely beautiful.  It is very central and you can walk anywhere. We have loved every moment here. Excellent dinner and light but good breakfast.

From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional.
Rooms were small but cosy and a lovely roof terrace.
Even made a little friend who would come to visit us every night when we sat in the roof with our wine.
Great location and only about a t minute walk from getting dropped off by the taxi.

Excellent Riad, an oasis of calm inside the Medina. All the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was ideal and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. We would definitely recommend Riad Armelle to anyone looking for a place to stay in the heart of Marrakesh.

We’re so please we decided to stay at Riad Armelle over a larger hotel. It’s very traditional and so comfortable. A little heaven in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We stayed 7 nights and would have stayed longer!

Uninhabitable - we had to leave and pay for another accommodation out of pocket. Room was advertised as having air con but this did not work. We were then moved to another room the following morning after a sleepless night and the air con in this room was weak and intermittent. Given the heat (up to 45 degrees in day time and over 25 at night) this meant the riad was not safe to stay at.
Staff were unable to help and just gave a number to WhatsApp the owner who didn’t bother to respond (and still hasn’t). Didn’t feel like the staff were too bothered (although Cece was very nice).
Otherwise the place is nicely decorated and location is quite good. Maybe ok for a winter trip.

I stayed here for a week, and the rooms although looked nice had very weak aircon in a country thats 40 degrees hot, our front door locking system was very weak and easy to break into by anyone, there was no room service, the staff were okay but limited help with anything. Drinks were more expensive as well and the tourist tax is high. If you are looking for comfort i would not recommend but the location is really good as it is close to everything.
