Here’s a few things you need to know before making this your next holiday choice:

1) Location: The hotel is outside El Campello and offers incredible views of the Mediterranean. It’s fairly secluded with 2 restaurants (that open at 8pm) and supermarket within walking distance (uphill). You can take a bus and a train to Alicante if you’re looking for a bit more atmosphere.

2. Staff: Limited staff onsite that work 12 hour shifts from breakfast, lunch, dinner all the way through to the bar which closes at 11pm. Over the 6 nights we stayed there we never quite felt welcomed. We got the feeling that they were overworked and didn’t want to be there. Nice people though.

3. Food: the two restaurants outside the hotel were fantastic. Especially the Italian! But food served within the hotel wasn’t great. If you like prison food you’re in the right place. Better pack some sandwiches to be on the safe side.

A wonderful experience to stay here! Beautiful and well maintained resort, tasty and good variety of food at breakfast, dinner and poolbar. Very friendly staff in reception, restaurants, bar, maintenance and cleaning. Always smiling and serviceminded. And our apartment was fantastic with a large terrace with breathtaking views of the ocean. The poolarea nice and clean and there is also a well equipped fitness room. At this fantastic resort you have all you need and more, we will com back very soon.

This is a beautiful location for a holiday. The village setting is really something and the photos here don't do it justice. The reception area is clean and well maintained. The houses are slightly dated in terms of paintwork and masonry, but the bedrooms are lovely. Beds are super comfy and the views of the courtyard and sea are spectacular. Pool area is nice although the water is not cold which we would have preferred. Breakfasts are really fresh and the service is great. We didn't have dinner on site, but lunch in the terrace bar was excellent. It's a really calm and restful place generally. It's a bit of a trek to get anywhere but that's the price you pay for a cliff side resort. Bring comfy shoes! They provide a cart service to get you up and down to your room if needed.
We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had so much fun. Food was great. There's a little path down to the sea and we snorkelled everyday. Pay the extra for the rooms with a view, the views are breathtaking.

Amazing gem. Charming look, felt magical. Wonderful for families, has a shallow pool and schedule of children's activities.

Rooms are slightly behind. They have a kitchenette, but no plates or cutlery. There is a kettle, no coffee or tea. Just 4 cups. Bed mattresses and pillows could use an update.

We stayed for a night, but really enjoyed the place and plan to go again for a longer stay.
