Things To Keep In Mind

we spent the first 2 weeks of September at the hotel. it was a very good location, on a long stretch of road with lots of different shops. The lovely beach was just across the road. You can get the bus which runs every 20 minutes into the old beautiful Chania town. We would like to thank all the wonderful staff in the restaurant for their kind and helpful service, including Lambro, Natasha, Agabi, Nico, Alexandra and Anastasia. Would highly recommend and would go back again.

We enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the hospitality and service. The restaurant food was delicious and they had quite a variety. The restaurant staff was very pleasant. The gym was also quite nice. However, we noticed that there were a number of amenities at the hotel that weren’t complimentary, like the safes. It seems odd that there would be a surcharge to secure your valuables in your room. Also, the slides and kid pool area had a surcharge as well but this wasn’t advertised at the websites. Apparently, in order to avoid that these you need to pay for the “all inclusive” package. I understand if that is the case but please advertise this on any sites that show this resort.

**Excellent start to our stay! (Days 1-2)**

Very impressed with this hotel so far. Our room is spotless and well-maintained, and all the pools are clean and inviting. What we really appreciate is that there's no early morning towel rush for sunbeds - you can actually find a good spot without the stress!

The separate kids' pool area with slides is a fantastic touch. For just 7-10 euros, you can leave the children there safely while you relax. Great value and peace of mind.

We had great service, and the employees were very good tobus, but we did have ants in our room (took days and several attempts to fix). The ants probably werent their fault tho, and to be fair it is quite difficult to remove the ants with guests still in the room, other than that it seemed like a nice room.

Location was OK. Nothing else to say about that, there is a big shopping street, and some car rentals nearby if you wanna explore other parts of the island :).

Beware: this is NOT a five star hotel! It's old, the rooms smell. In Belgium we would say: 'vergane glorie'.

And oh, you have to pay extra to use the water park! Wanna plat tennis or padel? Another 40 euros an hour, and €3 for a racket. On booking, that information is not shared

A beautiful resort with all you can wish for. The location in Platanias is top notch with all you can imagine just a few minutes away.
The pool area as awesome with a great snack bar in connection to it for those lazy pool days. The food is really good and I have nothing to contain about.
And leys not forget the water park where you can spend lots of time

In my opinion the all-inclusive option is an all-inclusive plus. Being able to use two hotels (pools, bars) is an extra option. The beach at the hotel is great with sands :) Porto Platanias Village is a super choice for a vacation if you are looking for peace. And all the service - at a high level. These people work very hard indeed. While the TUI travel agency itself is nothing to do and just take a comission ;)

We are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel! The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly, and everything was of the highest standard. We would also like to give a special thank you to the wonderful animator Dimitri, who often entertained us with great conversations. Such a great guy – truly a pleasure to meet him!

I rate the entire stay at the hotel very good, the only unpleasant thing is the practice of charging an additional climat fee - Just before the planned arrival date we received information about the change in the climat fee amount (which we had already paid when booking) such a practice is not very pleasant. Apart from this, everything was fine, the employees were helpful, food was very good.
