The BEST - Always friendly and helpful staff, fantastic location, beautiful interiors, stunning décor in the rooms and public areas, delicious meals. The location is excellent, and the view is a perfect place to enjoy the evenings. The restaurant and Uranus are truly beautiful. The service is top-notch, respectful, open, and helpful. Very clean, and everything is well-maintained. The only downside is the Cicada beach area, which is slightly off the beaten track. Although a walk along the beach only reinforces the beauty of the place, the organized beach for guests should, in my opinion, be redesigned to be more peaceful. It's too noisy, and people are constantly milling about among the sunbeds. This is irritating, but that's just my subjective opinion. I highly recommend staying at Pnoe; I've been there twice and will be back next season in 2026.

We spent two nights at Pnoe and left with mixed feelings. The property itself is visually striking, though the design gave us more of a “1980s corporate office park meets spa” impression than the serene luxury feel we expected. The landscaping was lovely at first glance, but unfortunately much of it looked half-dead.

The beach was closed during our stay, so we were shuttled to the hotel’s own beach club next door—convenient, but not what we’d hoped for. Adding to that, there was a noticeable sulfur smell across parts of the property, which made it hard to fully relax.

On the positive side, the massage at the spa was excellent. However, the main pool was far too cold to enjoy. The location is close to the airport, which makes for easy access, but you do hear and see planes overhead throughout the day and night.

Overall, it’s a pretty property with potential, but it fell short of expectations for the price and branding.

‼️READ THIS – NOT THE LUXURY HOTEL YOU EXPECT‼️

We stayed two weeks in a Signature Villa in late September at what’s sold as a luxury, health-focused hotel. With a private pool and five-star promises, we expected paradise. Sadly, it turned out to be a major disappointment.

❌ The airport is extremely close. You hear a plane landing or taking off almost every ten minutes, some so loud it’s unbearable. You might get used to it eventually, but this is definitely not what you want when spending €10,000. There is no peace here – just constant, overwhelming noise.

❌ This hotel has no real beach access. They may claim otherwise because you can walk down to the sea, but there are no sunbeds, towels, or anything that makes it feel like an actual beach. Instead, they drive you to a small, dirty, and very worn-out spot where you can “enjoy” the sea.

❌ The villa pool sits at 21.7°C, freezing cold. You can heat it for €50/day – for just +2°C more...

❌ The queen-size bed in our villa is actually made of two separate mattresses pushed together, so if you try to cuddle, you’ll slide right into the gap between them.

❌ If you don’t book a villa, be aware that your room has almost no privacy. The “fence” is a few thin branches, and everyone walking along the service road - guests and staff – can see straight onto your terrace. Only villas have solid stone walls that actually protect your privacy.

❌ Most disappointing of all, there is simply nothing to do here. Two restaurants, one bar, one public pool – that’s it. We ended up walking the same few meters back and forth for two weeks. The surroundings are depressing, full of abandoned buildings and dirt. This is basically the airport outskirts. If you don’t rent a car, you’re stuck here – imprisoned for your holiday.

⚠️ They advertise themselves as a health hotel, yet their gym is around 30 sqm with only a few machines: one treadmill, one bike, and one stepper. It’s okay but very basic for a place claiming to be “health-focused.”

⚠️ We also tried the spa. The prices are steep – €165 per person for a 75-minute massage – but Vaggelis, the masseur, was exceptional: professional, skilled, and kind. Still, there’s no real relaxation area afterward, and the “private” spa section feels anything but private. The pool is tiny, the sauna wasn’t hot enough, and people constantly walking past the glass corridor ruin any sense of calm.

✅ Our Signature Villa itself is beautiful. The design is stylish, and the digital room experience adds a fun, modern touch.

✅ The food is superb. While the variety doesn’t quite hold up for a two-week stay, the quality, flavor, and creativity are truly five-star.

✅ And the service – the only truly five-star part of this hotel! The staff are warm, attentive, and go out of their way to make up for everything else the hotel gets wrong. Ioanna, Vasilis, Mae, and others deserve real credit for their kindness and professionalism.

Pnoe is far from being your luxury holiday. If you’re after a genuine high-end experience, look elsewhere. But if you’re fine spending a week pretending for Instagram that you’ve found paradise – well, this place is perfect for that illusion.

Pnoé Breathing Life is an exceptional hotel that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless — the service, the design, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail. The rooms are beautifully designed and offer true comfort and tranquility. The private pool suite is high more than I expected. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help. The entire experience felt luxurious yet deeply relaxing. I genuinely couldn’t ask for more. I give it a full 10/10 and would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

My stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable. The entire property is incredibly beautiful – thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail, creating an atmosphere where you instantly feel at ease.

The food was absolutely outstanding – everything from the variety to the quality and presentation was perfect. Every course was a delight!

Pnoé Breathing Life Adults Only is without doubt one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are exceptional, always kind, respectful, smiling and truly eager to help with anything you need. Even when a small misunderstanding occurred, they did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and well looked after.

The facilities are outstanding. There is a beautiful pool area where you can enjoy the sun throughout the day, a stylish bar serving excellent food and drinks, and a breakfast buffet that is honestly one of the best I have ever experienced. The hotel also has two restaurants offering outstanding dishes that are definitely worth trying during your stay. Each room comes with its own private pool, giving you the chance to fully relax with your partner, and the rooms themselves are modern, elegant and equipped with everything you might need.

There is also a spa with a wide variety of treatments and a 24/7 gym with all the equipment required to keep in shape. Overall this is a true five star experience, combining luxury, comfort and genuine hospitality. I absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Crete.

We really enjoyed our stay. The people are super friendly, the food is delicious, and the swim-up room with private pool was a highlight. Everything is clean and well maintained. The private transfer to the beach is a nice bonus, and communication via WhatsApp is fast and easy.

In general, Greeks are incredibly warm and welcoming — you feel it everywhere. Renting a car is definitely recommended, since there’s not much within walking distance of the hotel. But the island is stunning and perfect to explore by car.

Still, the hotel is a clear 10/10. Highly recommended.
