I rarely write reviews, but I believe it’s important to raise awareness about what happened during my family’s visit today.

We had a confirmed reservation for 1:00 PM and arrived 20 minutes early, fully understanding that we might need to wait. The restaurant staff initially asked us to wait, which was fair. However, what happened next was unacceptable.

When the waiter finally approached us, he said that all window tables were full and pointed us toward a table in the middle of the restaurant. As I was trying to understand the situation, he began gesturing toward the door, asking us to leave. I calmly asked to speak with the manager, and only then did he suddenly offer a window table, contradicting what he had said moments earlier.

We stepped outside politely to wait for the remaining 20 minutes until our reservation time , we had no intention of leaving. However, immediately after, the waiter shut the door and locked it, right in front of us. That act alone was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. It was only after that moment that we decided to leave.

As paying guests who made a proper reservation and behaved respectfully, this experience was deeply disappointing. I hope management looks into this behavior seriously, as it completely undermines the hospitality expected from such a renowned location. The view may be beautiful, but respect and professionalism are what truly define a restaurant.

Parador de Ronda is nearly flawless. From the moment you step into reception, you're treated like a VIP. The room and views are stunning, and the attention to detail is remarkable—even the lotion and hand soap bottles include Braille for visually impaired guests. The thick walls and doors ensure excellent sound insulation, making the room exceptionally quiet.

Dinner and breakfast were delightful, and service throughout was impeccable. The location itself is breathtaking, perched above dramatic cliffs with panoramic views.
The only drawback: due to the building’s size and heavy construction, Wi-Fi reception in my room was poor and unreliable. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

The room was uncomfortably hot. Pouring rain outside, when I reached the receptionist, their only response was to open a window, and that was it—a single sentence. It would have been an acceptable response to your kid at home, but not a professional response from a hotelier. Also, the restaurant staffs were rude and I felt discriminated.
It is understandable that this parador must be one of the busiest due to its famous location; however, all the staff were disengaged and made no one feel welcome at all.
Also, the hotel exterior was under construction, which prohibited any access to the terrace towards the bridge for the view. There was nothing mentioned in the booking.

The scenery and location of this place are absolutely stunning, both day and night. I highly recommend staying here. What touched me the most was the exceptional service, dedication, and warm attitude of the hotel staff. I had accidentally left some clothes in my room before moving on to a hotel in Barcelona, and they kindly shipped them to me without any issues, ensuring my trip went smoothly. I am deeply grateful for their unforgettable kindness — it’s a service I will remember for the rest of my life. If I ever visit Ronda again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel much! The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful. We are welcomed by the smiley face and joyful greeting. My daughter had lost a toy near reception. Although it was not found at the end, the staff sincerely helped to check in detail.
Location is perfect. Room is clean and tidy. We enjoyed staying here a lot would definitely come again in future.

This is one of the nicest paradors that we have stayed in! Modern, comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well decorated. The reception staff were very helpful. The views over the countryside are wonderful and it is an easy walk to the town centre. The breakfast was very good. Highly recommended!

The Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious.

Dinner service was a little off, wrong wine served at the table, people had to ask multiple times for a drink, but food was good and came quick.

Just be aware it is not possible to take any food from the breakfast buffet to the room. I wanted to grab a bite to do some work in the room and they insisted to hand my breakfast plate back. So they rather throw the food away then me eating in the room!
Had to be thankful that they allowed me to take the coffee in the room.
I understand that it's a policy introduced by management, but not a great approach to customer service. Not everybody who stays is on a holiday and can enjoy a leisurely start in the restaurant.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is located in a beautiful viewpoint on a hill, but still very accessible to the city. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again! Also within walking distance to train station Antequera A.V.

We stayed here for four nights and we were both a little disappointed. We were checked in by a very grumpy man who made us feel unwelcome. Our room was big but dated and a little tatty and the bathroom smelled of damp. The air conditioning was very loud. The hotel is situated in a great area for exploring Antequera and the carpark is big so we had no trouble parking. I’ve read other reviews that really rated this hotel so maybe we were just unlucky with our room?

A beautiful hotel, very luxurious,  our  bedroom was huge, the bathroom very clean and modern. The bar was very relaxing.it has a good-sized swimming pool with lots of sunbeds.
Most of the staff were attentive, but as with many Paradores, there's a lack of training.
The food in the cafe was delicious.

This 4 star hotel is located in the city centre of Ronda and was established in 1994. It is a short drive away from the Ronda. The Hotel has a restaurant, 2 bars, a conference room, a coffee shop and an outdoor swimming pool. All 78 rooms are equipped with minibar, hairdryer, safe and air conditioning.
