I have just returned from a break with my mother & 2 sons (11 &17).

Overall the hotel was good- rooms were clean, beds were comfortable & air conditioning was welcomed as it was so hot. Although they say they sleep 4 I'm pleased we booked 2 rooms as 1 for 4 of us would have been a bit of a squeeze.

The food was pretty good in the restaurant with plenty of choice ( standard for all inclusive). However, the pool snack bar was very basic (burgers/hotdogs/fries) & could do with offering additional items. Drinks were typical of an all inclusive bar.

The location is okay about 10min walk to the nearest beach & 20 min to the centre of salou. The bus services are straight outside the hotel & are very regular.

We found some of the staff to be quite rude. Particularly the bar & restaurant staff. They seemed to be unhappy to be there which is sad to see & like they really couldn't be bothered. We were made to feel like a hindrance at times. They never smiled or engaged totally different from other hotels I have experienced. However, The animation team really tried & were great at including people & the reception team were helpful.

I wouldn't return to this hotel but I loved salou & we had great fun in Port Adventure & Port

We've just returned from a family holiday, two adults and one 16 year old. We really enjoyed our stay. It's a 3* hotel and the all inclusive matches this. The drinks selection was pretty good and food options were as standard. Great seafood options but much less choice if you are vegetarian or vegan, which didn't affect us.
Staff were pleasant and friendly, Carlos on the bar was a standout, remembering our drinks order within a day.
The indoor gym and spa were good additions beyond what other similar hotels may have.

We go for 5 days with some friends, I spend all my money at the casino, but I really enjoy the hotel. Well situated, good food and nice rooms. Special shout out to Sergio who is very welcoming and friendly. He wins us twice playing pool, I was a bit bad playing. I will improve and will come back to win him. Next year absolutely . Amazing animation team

Finding Villa Dorada was such a great discovery! Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, from the fantastic facilities and prime location to the incredible staff who truly make you feel right at home.
The food is absolutely spectacular, and we loved that they always offer different daily specials to keep things fresh and exciting.
A massive thank you to the whole Villa Dorada team. We will definitely be back next year

We stayed in here from the 7th -14th July
From checking in at 11pm to checking out at 7.20pm . The staff were amazing helpful and welcoming.
The food on a daily basis was plentiful. With a fresh cookline at each mealtime. All of the staff were friendly .
The cleanliness was absolutely spot on the housekeeping team worked so hard keeping everything clean fresh and tidy! The rooms were spacious and exceptionaly clean ,
This hotel deserves more than 3 stars as for people complaining about rude bar staff , my opinion they don't have to engage if they don't want to we were half board, paid cash for our drinks ,tipped with the change , hospitality us a hard job to be in . Overall our stay was brilliant wish I was still there
