We enjoyed our stay at New Eagles Hotel in Hurghada. It felt like a resort-style experience at a fraction of the price.

There is a supermarket right in front of the hotel, but we chose not to shop there after being asked to pay much more than the price stated at the cash desk, which felt misleading.

The hotel is quite isolated, so you’ll need a car or taxi to visit attractions. The beach is beautiful, and the restaurant is nice but limited—it closes at 9:00 pm and does not serve alcoholic beverages.

Breakfast is great.

Recommended if you’re looking for a clean room with amenities like a pool and easy beach access, and don’t mind using taxis to get around.

This hotel is completely misleading compared to what you see in the pictures. When you arrive, it is nothing like the advertisement.

First of all, there is no alcohol available anywhere in the hotel. The rooms are in terrible condition. They only provide small bottles or refills of shampoo, not enough towels even for several guests, and almost no toilet paper. You constantly have to ask for more.

The advertisement says there is internet, but there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The Wi-Fi throughout the hotel is very weak, and you need to reconnect every 10–20 minutes with a code. It also claims that soft drinks and beverages are included in the room fridges, but that is not true. You only get two bottles of water and one regular cola. We asked four times for Cola Zero, and they always said they didn’t have any.

Never book any safari or activity from this hotel. We were tricked into a fake “safari” (Crystal Sahara) that was nothing but a scam, with people trying to take money from us.

The drinks at the hotel are very limited: cola, cola zero (sometimes), and some sugary artificial juice. We paid extra for an ocean view room, but after two days of complaints, they only gave us something “similar” to what we paid for. We even tried to cancel and change hotels through the travel agency and directly with the hotel, but it was not possible.

The buffet serves almost the same food every day. I booked a massage, which was decent, but even after paying, I was asked several times for extra tips—and even days later, while we were swimming, I was asked again.

The only positive thing is that a few staff members were polite and kind. Unfortunately, that does not make up for the overall terrible experience.

I would not recommend booking this place. Very poor service, misleading advertising, and a complete disappointment.

We booked 10 nights at the New Eagles Resort Aqua Park, hoping for a relaxing family holiday. Unfortunately, our experience so far (we’re currently on day five) has been extremely frustrating and exhausting.

Although I’m on vacation with my family, I work online — and the internet has never worked in our apartment. Every single day, someone from maintenance has come to “fix” it, yet nothing ever changes. Today they even sent a cleaning staff member (after much insisting) to bring a new router that didn’t even turn on. Totally pointless.

To make matters worse, on the second day the door lock broke, and anyone could walk into our room. It was “fixed,” but the exact same problem happened again the next day… and again today. We’ve had to call reception at least two to three times every single day. Sometimes they send someone; other times, no one shows up. Instead of offering to change our room, they just keep patching things up.

We’re traveling with a 3-year-old child, who needs early rest, but they always come to fix things at inconvenient hours — when they actually come. Reception often doesn’t even pick up the phone anymore.

The facilities don’t seem very old, but they’re poorly maintained. Most of the staff are friendly, though there are a few exceptions. The food is very repetitive — we’re honestly tired of it halfway through our stay. The pool water is freezing cold, not refreshing. The beach is nice, but there are no fish or corals, just an artificial bay where boats also dock.

But the worst part by far is the situation with our room. We feel completely drained from dealing with the same issues day after day. The Wi-Fi is unusable, and the door doesn’t lock properly, meaning anyone can enter even when it’s “locked” from the inside. Totally unacceptable for a supposed “resort and spa.”

We came here hoping to relax, but this has turned into a daily struggle. Definitely not the experience we paid for — or would ever repeat.

The hotel was amazing the pools were very clean my hotel room was very clean it was spotless the pool with the water park slides was… AMAZING! Loved the beach they had they had some kind of a burron panel outside next to your hotel room door and from the inside you could select if you want cleaning staff to come to your room and clean your room and more! All of the hotel rooms were amazing! There’s was a pool very close to their beach that was not that good that good I didn’t enter in it but It was spottless this is one of the best hotel ever in Egypt, hurghada if people never went to Egypt and want to go read this review and try going to this hotel in hurghada too! Currently, I am staying at the hotel. The food is not varied, and the desserts and fruits are very limited.
It is very difficult to get clean towels.
The swimming pools are not clean.
The  nice thing was the hotel’s
reception.

Very week Wi-Fi service without enough coverage , I recommand to add other access points and rebuild another technology because it reconnects within 10 minutes .

The animation team are also disaster .
