Worst hotel experience I’ve had in Turkey. I stayed here for almost three days, and the issues were nonstop.
It looks luxury from outside , but once we enter the room , every impression will be changed.

• The room had a completely useless air conditioner. It never worked, despite the receptionist insisting it would function “only if all doors and windows are closed.” We kept everything closed, yet it still didn’t work for all three days.
• The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, causing water to spill everywhere while showering.
• The hair dryer in the bathroom didn’t work, and even my own personal hair dryer wouldn’t turn on — something that worked perfectly in Istanbul, Cappadocia, and again once I returned home. It felt like the hotel had some kind of power cut-off when electricity usage increased.

Overall, a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The room was excellent value for money, offering a comfortable stay at an affordable price. The hotel is conveniently located close to most major tourist attractions, making it a great choice for travelers who want to explore the area without spending too much

Subject: Formal Complaint and Request for Refund

Dear Hotel Management,

I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my stay at your hotel.

The room provided does not correspond to the photographs and description shown on your website. The actual condition is unacceptable: the room smells strongly of cigarette smoke, there are missing tiles in the shower area, and the air conditioner is not functioning.

This constitutes a failure to provide services as advertised and agreed. Under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Turkish Code of Obligations, services must conform to the contract and promotional representations. The current condition of the room clearly violates these legal requirements.

Due to these material defects, I request a full refund of the amount paid.

Please respond promptly to resolve this matter amicably. Otherwise, I will be forced to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti).

My girlfriend and I booked the Mera Park Hotel fully aware that it was a budget-friendly option, but nothing could have prepared us for what we found. Upon entering our room, we discovered bed bugs crawling across the beds. We immediately went to the reception to report it calmly, expecting at least some concern or assistance.

Instead, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She refused to offer a refund or any compensation and wouldn’t even look us in the eye. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any hotel, regardless of price.

We had to leave immediately and find another place to stay at our own expense. For your own comfort and safety, do not stay here—unless you’re looking for a bed bug sanctuary instead of a hotel

The room was immaculately clean and beds are comfortable. The large windows and balcony provide a good outside view. The exceptional service from the hotel staff ensured my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Booking through Airbnb proved to be a fantastic value, as the hotel charged a significantly lower rate compared to their standard prices. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding quality, service, affordability and would give it a well-deserved 4/5 stars.
