Unfortunately, we have more or less negative experience with this hotel. It is clean yes, but the cleaners will not be pretended to work definitely and work, throws only waste bins, towels for the whole week, nowhere is wiped and slowly will not give you a new soap and we paid for the Superior. A wardrobe with a few straps where the safe is located in an absolutely inappropriate place, you have no better stacking of a dwelling- a shower close to the Superior room and I note that my husband and I are both slim. The hotel is definitely calm on a quiet Mîsta in the wild, unless the rude children come. You will take care of fun. The staff is nice -all inclusive - it is complicated from ice cream of 3 types, from alcohol I tried only ouzo, other alcohol rather not, then it is what, every taste and what I have. Food is definitely not for busy clients. And if you choose this hotel, I recommend borrowing a car. The receptionist told us on Saturday that we should ask on Sunday if it is going to go out the check out and then on Sunday it tells us that it wants 35 euros in 2 hours ... incredible. We tried this hotel, but unfortunately not really good.... The swimming pool is one open until 17:00 and one by 18:00… for me I do not recommend.

Me and my wife love everything about the Meliton Hotel, it is so clean and peaceful, and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Food is not always a great choice, but we always found something we liked, and it was always well cooked, and Harris the chef is such a lovely guy , so a big shout out to him. There are 2 pools and they are spotlessly clean and well maintained and a sun bed is always available, the beach is about 20 minutes walk away, but the hotel do provide a minibus at 10am to take you to the beach and it picks you up again at 1pm to get you back for lunch.
This hotel is perfect if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday, and we highly recommend it, you really can’t do better for the price in our opinion.

For me, Meliton should be 4 star hotel. The location is perfect to sightseeing if you have car because it's in the center of the Rhodes island. The cleanliness in the room is spotless. They clean rooms every day. Food was a little bit repeated but always fresh and really good. The reception and the whole crew was sooo kind for every guest which we really appreciate that. We really enjoyed entertainment part. There were greek night and karaoke night during our stay. We've got really spacious room for three people with beautiful view on the greenery, quiet pool and also partial sea view from our balcony. I do not recommend this hotel!
I have traveled to many countries, but this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

When we arrived, we were not given the room we had booked. Instead of a double bed, we received two separate beds, even though we were a family with a small child. We requested a double bed but had to wait 3 days for a room change.

We also had to pay extra for air conditioning, even though this was not mentioned on Booking. We paid for an all-inclusive package, but after 10 PM, everything had to be paid separately.

The room didn’t look like the pictures, there were small insects inside, and it smelled like urine in the bathroom. Cleaning was far from satisfactory.

The food was repetitive and bland. Every day it was the same things, poorly cooked. They served plain pasta without any sauce, and traditional Greek dishes like hummus, souvlaki, or gyros were completely missing.

Desserts were disappointing – only some doughnuts once and hard biscuits as snacks. The ice cream was served only during snack time.

Drinks were very limited. If you asked for a whiskey, they would pour you a tiny 20 ml shot, barely covering the ice. If you asked for a proper drink, the bartender would refuse, saying the owner was watching and didn’t allow it.

No activities or entertainment were organized for the guests, and the owner was constantly watching people to see how much they ate or drank – it made us feel very uncomfortable.

In short: poor service, bad food, unclean rooms, and a greedy management. Definitely not worth the money. Stay away!

This is highly recommended hotel if you are looking for peace and harmony in the beautiful countryside. You'll need to rent car or motorcycle if you would like to explore surroundings.  They will provide with full service as described on booking.com and you could relax and feel like at home. It's a good value for money and quite popular hotel among people and I booked 16 days  about 4 months before i arrived at Meliton Hotel. I checked few times availability and all July dates was fully booked. It was second time when I was here. After it's just 10 minutes driving distance from airport and taxi price is starting from 16-23€ one way but bus ticket will cost you less than 3€ but you should find  bus timetable. In the meantime you can rent scooter from airport and go with the flow and enjoy freedom!

Overall experience:

Very kind and helpful people. Check in and check out was very quick and rooms was clean and spotless. All toiletries was provided and missing ones was topped up later. Also bed was large and comfy. Air-conditioning was simply brilliant and they installed truly powerful aircondioner in my room. Swimming pools are large enough and they do a good job to keep them clean at all times. I enjoyed my time here very much and felt like at home.
Some guests can be noisy but they don't try to distract people but it's interesting to watch them talking to each other and such lovely interactions makes this hotel alive.

You will see a lot of cats here.

Meals:

It's  3 times a day and you can expect to receive locally resourced food from gardens. Fresh food every day. They will cook authentic and delicious Greek food  and it would cost separately more elsewhere. Menu is limited but absolutely acceptable for the price overall. Personally I expressed acknowledgement and compliments to the chef. I heard same from few hotel guests too.

Sure thing, there is a little shop where most important products are available for sale. You won't find many shops around and shopping  should be well planned if you wish to buy more. The Best advice from me is to book day trip by ferry from Rhodes port to Marmaris, Turkey and that's very interesting shopping experience. However Meliton Hotel will provide full information about available tours and transport.

Honestly I would return back here third time because I enjoyed quality food, service, peace and happiness. This was main reason why I returned here second time and feel grateful for everything I received from Meliton Hotel.

For mobility during your holiday, there are a bus stop (approx. 700 m away), or you could choose to hire a car. The airport is about 9kms away.Since 1989, this family-run hotel has been hosting guests with comfort and genuine Greek culture and hospitality. The hotel is perfect for relaxing holidays and has guests who like to come back and stay!
