Due to a legal error of Marbella’s local government during the course of some administrative proceedings back in 2000, the administrative concession for the use one of the pool and garden areas of the property granted to the Hotel, has been cancelled.
The cancellation of this concession only affects the area comprising the lagoon shaped pool, the garden surrounding the pool, the children´s play area, and the tennis and paddle tennis courts.
Consequently, the Hotel must return the affected area and hand it over back to Marbella’s local government. The exact handover date has not been set yet, although it is expected to take place on the 1st week of April 2018. We are now trying to postpone the handover date as much as possible, but we are aware that our petitions are not likely to succeed in the long run.
