My family and I just returned from a wonderful week at Melas Lara Hotel, and we had such a great experience. What stood out the most was definitely the service. Every member of staff we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always quick to help with anything we needed.

The service throughout the hotel was very fast and efficient, whether at the restaurants, bars, or around the hotel in general. The staff really work hard to make sure guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay, and it made a big difference to our experience.

Overall, we really enjoyed our week at Melas Lara and would happily recommend it to families looking for a relaxing holiday with excellent service. A big thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable!

Just wrapped up a fantastic 3 days trip to Antalya. The highlight was definitely the service at the hotel.
Big Thank you to Gulben Kuslar at the front desk for making everything so easy for us and always with the beautiful smile like a professional.
Hasan Unal was a total pro and helpedus out with our bags and getting settled.
At the lobby bar we get another excellent service by Ozlem which served us many tasty drinks and lot of joyful.

A great hotel for people aged 50+, small, cozy, quiet, very clean, and with good food. There was always a wide variety of choices in the restaurant. The room was cleaned every day. The territory was well-maintained and beautiful. The indoor swimming pool was nice and clean, and the sauna was good too.

The only disappointment for me was the absence of a pier. In the photos, it looks like there is a pier, but in reality, it belongs to the neighboring hotel — Melas does not have its own pier.

There were some evening shows, but we didn’t attend them, so I can’t say anything about them. Overall, it is an excellent choice for those who don’t need much entertainment or activities and just want a peaceful vacation not far from Antalya Airport. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent.

Our stay 3 days stay at Melas Lara was fantastic.

We arrived close to midnight on our first day and had informed the hotel in advance. They told us to let the reception know when we arrived so they could arrange some food for us, which was a very thoughtful

A special mention goes to Hassan from the concierge/reception team. He was one of the hardest-working and most accommodating staff members we met. He always had a smile on his face and was ready to help with anything we needed. In fact, all of the staff made this hotel exceptional.

The rooms were clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping was available daily, and throughout the day staff would even come by to ask if we wanted our drinks and minibar replenished. The entire hotel was spotless, with staff constantly cleaning the facilities and ensuring there was no rubbish anywhere.

The pool was huge, and there were plenty of sunbeds available, even at the end of June when we expected it to be much busier. We found it best to visit the beach around 6:00 a.m. when it was peaceful, less crowded, and the sea was much calmer.

There were lots of activities during the day, including pool exercises and games. In the evenings, there was always entertainment, such as live music by the pool bar and an incredible Mongolian acrobatic performance, which was one of the highlights of our stay.

The pool bar was another highlight of our holiday. We probably tried around six different cocktails during our stay, and each one was well made. The bar staff were friendly and provided great service throughout.

We were probably the only Asian guests during our visit, with most of the other guests are European. Although there were occasional language barriers with some staff, they always did their best to communicate and assist us with a smile.

The dining experience was excellent. There was a huge variety of delicious food every day, including themed dinners such as Asian and Italian nights. The desserts were especially amazing. Every time we sat down to eat, a member of staff was quick to offer us drinks and make sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, what truly makes Melas Lara stand out is its staff. Their friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return in the future.

I don't recommend this hotel to people who want a relaxing vacation, to fellow childfree people and to young people in general. I regretted every second of it.

I get stressed by loud, unnecessary noises, and since the moment I stepped inside the hotel I heard only screaming infants. The guests are 90% old people and families with small children. Not many young people/couples and no teenagers. Honestly, if I knew this is their target demographic, I would have gladly paid more for an adults only hotel.
I had a constant headache, it was impossible to relax, to sleep, to eat quietly. In the room next to us there were two kids who started to make a ruckus every morning at 7, together with their parents, from inside the room until the elevators. Is it that difficult to accomodate the few young couples separated from all this chaos? We paid good money exactly as everyone else, it's not fair we get penalized like this. It would be nice to have some dedicated "silence areas"  for people coming to decompress. This is especially true for the pool and beach areas. They are too small, the beds are one on top of the other. One moment you're resting quietly, the next thousand piercing screeches ruin everything, it's not possible to swim without being splashed, you want to exit the pool using the stairs closer to your beds and it's not possible because they need to play right there and don't make way. At the restaurant you eat with the never ending background of screamed tantrums at every meal, late night snack included. And of course parents act like it's not their problem to stop them!

The hotel claims to be a 5 stars, but is a 3, so everything is average, but it's clean and most of the staff is friendly, they all work hard.
The rooms are in need of renovation and isolation improvement, as you can hear the guests next door clear as day, even when they flush the toilet.
The old elevators are slow and once I got stuck. Luckily, it started moving again on its own.

Food is decent and there's quiet a variety. If you're vegetarian it's still possible to eat many things, vegan far less choices.
Virtually, you could eat for almost 24hours straight, as there's always some kind of meal or snack being prepared at the pool/beach bar, ice cream and water fridges always available.

The entertainment is old resort style but ok. I enjoyed the turkish night and would have liked more cultural activities like this one.
