The journey from the airport to the resort takes about 55 minutes by speedboat or 20 minutes by seaplane.

The resort has 276 rooms in total and offers a relaxed and casual atmosphere. A large island by local standards, much of the island remains untouched, with its natural vegetation intact. There are two main restaurants, a poolside coffee shop, a la carte floating yacht restaurant (seasonal), overwater Asian Wok, Hot Rock Restaurant and Bar, sand floor bars and occasional entertainment. Two swimming pools (one adults only), fitness centre, two spas (one overwater), tennis, table tennis, volleyball, golf driving range, 9-hole pitch and putt, dive centre, snorkelling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and a host of excursions. The house reef is reached by boat.
