MedPlaya Hotel Alba Beach is a very nice hotel! Only 2 minutes to the beach (across the street), many shops and restaurants and cafes nearby, a nice pool, very nice and friendly staff! We had a room with the seaview, I was laying in bed, resting happily, listening to the waves. Loved it!

Great place, close to main beach, Hotel clean, rooms good & food OK for all inclusive/ half board. Some people complained to me about quality of food and choice, BUT if you can't find something daily you like to eat you really should be going to this Hotel !
I would return I was more than happy & all the staff were professional!
If I wanted to be really picky... the baked beans at breakfast could be hotter..but there is a microwave to use if you need to.

Just got back from a week at this hotel. We have been going for years it was only last year we changed hotels. Went back this year to see what changes it had as new name. They have upgraded the reception and seating area but rooms are still the same. They are comfortable rooms and cleaned daily. We noticed entertainment was outside this time. Some of the entertainment was good others were not so good. Food was atrocious this year. It has never been this bad. Even if you were first when the doors opened the food was cold. I lived on toast for breakfast as the rest was cold. Evening meal wasn't much better. There was only 1 day out of the full week when there was something on there that I liked and it was warm. I just had salad or my husband and I went out to eat which when you pay for half boards you don't expect to have to do. It is ideally situated for buses, palma park, marina and cable cars. The beach is just over the road too. Even thought the food here is terrible I like the hotel so would probably come back on a different basis and just eat out.

Only rated as 3 star but fir us, it was very good. Room was good size with nice view ( we had top floor pool view room) so have nice view out to sea and to mountain behind. The restaurant is buffet style and we had breakfast and evening meals there for 8 days. At certain times can be a bit of a challenge getting the full selection with so many people trying at same time and consequently by time you get it it is cold. We survived and in general food was good. Only on our last evening did we note thst selection was a bit 'random'. A bit like when you have no shopping in and ypu make do with whatever you've got in the fridge.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful, can't fault them and our rooms were cleaned and refreshed perfectly every day. Evening entertainment was,IOK (mixed) but not complaining. Bar prices were good. On many days the situation re sun beds was as expected with a struggle to find some around the pool.
Would recommend.

This is our second year staying at this hotel. It doesnt have a high star rating, but the location is perfect for us.
This year, we arrived around midnight and was little disappointed, initially with the room we were given (overlooking a roof of the sunset bar) it was too late, so just wanted to get unpacked and enjoy our holiday. The hotel is recently decorated, very clean, with toilets and public spaces cleaned all throughout the day and rooms, towel changes etc done daily. There was a little work going on with one lift, a little drilling, but there was no major disruption. We opted for half board, but some days, exchanged our evening meal for lunch  There was some of the same staff from last year and a couple of new, who are all helpful and great with my teenager! The entertainment staff hold Aqua aerobics every morning, water polo, darts, foam party and loads of other games throughout our stay.
Hotel is 2 minute walk from the beach and a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Maybe a 20/30 minute walk along to the marina. I would 100% recommend this hotel.
