A story I couldn’t write before

Some time ago, we stayed at this hotel as a family — my husband, our young child, and myself.
At that time, my husband was seriously ill and nearing the end of his life. We chose Turkey because it held deep personal meaning for us — it was where we had once met while travelling together, and this trip was meant to be our last journey as a family.

The hotel itself was clean, well maintained, and the staff were generally polite.

One morning in the restaurant, water had been spilled on the floor by someone. The floor remained wet for some time and had not yet been fully cleaned when my husband walked by, slipped, and fell. Shortly after, he suffered internal bleeding.

In that moment, I did not focus on the circumstances or staff response — my only priority was my husband’s condition and getting him safely back home.

The hotel offered a transfer, airport VIP lounge access, and a small discount on a future stay.
While these gestures helped on a practical level, they did not reflect the gravity of the situation we were in.

Our stay cost approximately €12,000–14,000 for one week. At this price level, guests reasonably expect not only comfort, but clear priorities around safety, accountability, and responsible management — especially when something goes wrong.

My husband passed away shortly after our return home.

With time and distance, I can now reflect on this experience. In moments like these, what people remember most is not the accident itself, but whether genuine human care and compassion were shown. Sometimes, one thoughtful and humane gesture matters more than formal apologies.

The Maxx Royal Belek is not only the best hotel in Turkey for me, but even in all of Europe! The service is absolutely outstanding – it feels like there is no such thing as “no” here. Every wish is fulfilled, and the staff truly goes above and beyond to make sure guests are completely happy.

A very special thank you to Mehriban and Kristina. They went out of their way to make everything possible – even though I can be a rather demanding and difficult guest, I felt incredibly well taken care of. This level of personal attention and genuine hospitality is something I have never experienced anywhere else.

My tip: definitely book a sea view room and don’t miss the Cabanas. The service there is even more exclusive – those were our most wonderful days!

From the moment we arrived, we knew our stay at Maxx Royal Belek would be special, but we never expected it to be so extraordinary. We've traveled extensively, and it's rare to find a place where every single detail is executed to this level of perfection.

The rooms, the pools, the beach—everything is simply stunning. The food is phenomenal, with a huge variety of high-quality options that will satisfy every palate. The attention to detail in the service is incredible, and the entire staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

However, what truly sets this resort apart is the staff. The warmth and genuine care they showed us were unparalleled. We were especially impressed by our assistants, Mehriban and Kristina. They were always one step ahead, anticipating our needs and making sure our every request was handled flawlessly. They turned a great vacation into an unforgettable experience.

A special thank you also goes to the hotel manager for his excellent leadership. It's clear that the incredible standards and positive atmosphere come from the top.

This is more than just a hotel; it's a world-class experience. We can't recommend the Maxx Royal Belek highly enough. It's an absolute must-visit!

Maxx Royal Belek remains, for us, the best hotel in Antalya. Everything here is simply wonderful. The atmosphere, the energy, the attention to detail — everything works together to make each guest feel truly special.

The service in this hotel is outstanding. You will never hear the word “no” here — guests are never refused, and every request is fulfilled quickly and with a smile. This is exactly what makes Maxx Royal stand out from all the rest.

We would like to give special thanks to our assistants.They are true professionals. A special word of gratitude goes to Evelina: incredibly sensitive and attentive, she always understands the mood and wishes of the guests, anticipating their needs and offering the right solution. With her, the stay becomes even more comfortable and harmonious.

We would also like to highlight Daria at the reception. She is the person who creates a sense of hospitality and care from the very first minutes. Daria always greets you with a smile, genuinely checks if everything is fine, and is ready to help even with the smallest requests. She has a wonderful ability to make people feel at ease: her kindness, politeness, and attention to detail make every interaction smooth and pleasant. Thanks to her thoughtful approach, you truly feel that this hotel cares for its guests at the highest level.

In the Twnty4 restaurant, we want to recognize Larisa. She is not only an excellent waitress, but in fact acts as a personnel manager in the restaurant. Thanks to her professionalism, the entire team works seamlessly, quickly, and efficiently, delivering impeccable service. It is exactly such people who make staying at the hotel truly unforgettable.

However, there is one aspect that we believe could be improved — the kids’ club. Unfortunately, our child has never wanted to stay there longer than half an hour and always asks to come back. The staff simply call the parents to pick up the child, without really trying to engage or involve him in activities. On one occasion, we found him just sitting alone without attention. This has been repeating year after year, and we sincerely ask the management to take action in this area.

For comparison: before our visit to Maxx, we spent a couple of days at Cullinan, where the kids’ club truly impressed us. The whole day there is planned with different activities, children are engaged and excited to stay. This is exactly what is missing in Maxx Royal, because in every other respect the hotel is a benchmark of service.

We truly love Maxx Royal Belek and will always come back again and again, but we hope that in the future the kids’ club will rise to the same high level as the rest of the hotel.

The staff make this place 5 star, from the moment we arrived, check in Mo was fantastic, he went out of his way to make our first impression above my expectations.
Showed us around the resort and to our room nothing was too much trouble.
Samira and Nazli was fabulous too, very nice to my daughter even when she was little unwell they checked how she was and very quick at sorting any requests out promptly, always stopping to see how we are and anything we needed to just ask.
Staff in the buffet and 24 hour restaurant are very attentive, remembered what drinks we liked.

The horse lounge was my favourite spot in the evening to have drinks and listen to live music, shot out to the DJ who played different music every night, not just the same playlist like other places we have visited.

Food is great, lots of choice at the buffet and 24 hour restaurant it was enough for my family and convient. However I would suggest to find a better way to keep the food hotter as we found by the time we put the food on our plate and sat down it was cold.
And different pastries at breakfast would be nice.

My daughter enjoyed the VR gaming and all the arcade games. Probably had too much ice cream!
We liked the indoor pool and heated outdoor pool. I took full advantage of the sauna and steamroom!

The Christmas entertainment was fantastic, my daughter had a great time at the kids party throwing tinsel. We attended the Christmas gala we really enjoyed the live band and dancers.

Terrace family suite was perfect for us we had so much space and beds very comfortable.
Maids keep everything spotless, she cleaned and filled our hot tub for us which we all enjoyed.

If I can sell my husbands kidney to pay for another holiday here i would!
The staff make the hotel, the grounds and facilities are lovely but kind and efficient people truly made our stay the best Christmas ever.
